"So you should be," he says. He draws a blaster from inside his coat and fires three shots into her at point-blank range.

"Don't worry," he says to those around, as she lays twitching on the floor. "There are plenty more where she came from."

"if you have them killed, people will think you really DO have something to hide..and will doubt the serpent even more. you do care what people think of you, right?"

"Yes! I care that they fear me enough to know that I will kill them! You'd best give me their names."

"well they call themselves mister M and missis F, i don't know their real names, they keep me short of irrelevant information. in any case...you could have them fear you just by proving that your family really has the stone. by helping me, their delegate.

(He's considering getting a list of everyone in the Serpent whose name begins with M or F)

"Nah, can't see it making a difference to the Galaxy, just your word," he says. "Besides, all this messing around with books... so BORING..."

"not to the GALAXY....i only have influence on a bunch of people....that can spread the news afterwards. the main difference is that the name of the serpent will rise, and your father will realise that, and he'll have you to thank for.....besides...you don't have to do anything, i'll do all the work. you just have to give me access to it."

Tanic is silently standing beside Rah... Looking for reactions and the oppurtunity to say something, which he doesn't as of yet.

Takuan is amused by his stupidity.
"perhaps that is so...regardless....i need access to the library. if you want something more than what i said, then you'll have to name it. otherwise...i'm going to haev to find somebody else to get me there"

(Dexx, make up something about rumors spreading...say something about how in 'your' part of the galaxy people don't believe that the Serpent is that strong, and if he doesn't do something to squash that belief it could spread all over the galaxy 😉)

neh...he's too dumb. he'd rather kill them. though the fact that me alone could change the perception of the serpent at too large a scale is indeed even over HIS naive-ness 🙂

Rah looks Deva in the eyes with an evil glint and chuckles "Now that's what I call using appropraite people skills..." He finishes his drink "Thanks for your help!"
With that Rah walks over to the librarians "Evening Gentelmen can I interest you in any drinks..."

"You don't look much like a waiter," one of them says.
