Heh!

He is a resource to be used. If you cannot show boldness and daring with those who are beneath you, then there will be no salvation for you, Orphan

(Little Orphan of the Force, lost and confused... 😛 )

"So...Rand...how do we propose on getting me up there?" Galder ponders. "I did well in that fight, did I not? Maybe I should go back to the fight rings..."

"Don't be a fool!" Rand hisses. "Unless you feel like coming close to death again, I might have you keep our way to the hangar clear...though, we might not take our ship to leave..."

"Couldn't we just defuse the bombs?" Galder asks. "And what if Jena does the same treatment to other ships? What if our ship is quarantined?"

Galder, even you would leave someone to watch the ship.

"Well, that gives you a purpose, now, doesn't it?" Rand says sarcastically to Galder. "Go see if the bombs are defusable, and see if there are any other, more suitable ships near our own, should the bombs prove too hard for you to handle..."

"I take my leave of you; better get to the hangars, Galder."

With that, Rand turns away from Galder at the stairway down to level one, and heads off to find Rianna, seeing her just as she lays that Gran flat.

"Rianna, a word?"

Galder grinds his teeth as Rand disappears from sight.

"Incompetent fool..." he mumbles.

(Rand, want to have made that Medicine Roll before we part ways again?)

As in, if you start messing with the explosives, you'll be noticed.

So you would need to kill that guy. And the guy with him. And so on and so on until you are back to starting a war.

As ever- timing.

(hahaha...)

(took me forever to find the posts with this info....)

"Bora somehow got me to training his men, so I have an idea of how strong their fighting forces are...they're nothing special, so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. What we need to do is figure out the security systems surrounding the tablet; all I've found out is that on the top floor each of the Lantarnans controls a part and presumably the security in that area, there will also be cameras and most likely some sort of control room for those." Rianna replies. "What have you found out from Jena? More importantly, what have you told her about us?"

(Sure, Rex, if Ush says it's alright...I wasn't sure if he was allowing that...)

"Simplest way to put it is, after we get out of this dispicable place, be ready to flog Galder with your boot," Rand replies. "The thugs are the least of our worries."

"Jena knows."

In that case, Galder will only check the systems of the ship to see where the bomb is located, and check around for good paths leading from the stairs to the hangar.

"Great....he just had to show off....and now our cover is blown..." Rianna says, irritated. "What has Jena said? I'm sure that she's not going to just sit back and let us run wild...."

"I'm afraid not," Rand sighs. "Currently, she is under the belief that we are here to assassinate Bora. Galder bribed her with our services as 'talented' people..."

"So, Jena has decided a task for us, and if we fail, we all die. And we have to do it. Now. If we succeed, Jena's eye will be off of us."

"Assassinating Bora...sounds like a good idea, personally. Anyway. What is this task?"

"Someone has to sneak into Mika's office and find a data crystal, which we shall deliver to Jena..."

"Oh? And I bet I can guess who this someone will have to be..."

"Well, would you trust Galder with being subtle?"

"You are the best man..." Rand stops at getting a glare from Rianna. "I mean, woman, for the job, Rianna. Unless you want Rah to do it..."

(Hey! Galder's not there to defend himself, so hush! 😛 )

Galder will plot a path to the hangar from the stairs that would be quickest and perhaps provides the escapees with a bit of cover should it come to small war fighting.

"Galder I would trust to be as subtle as a starship blowing up in a spaceport." Rianna says. "Tell me what I need to do."

(think we care? 😛)

Rand chuckles slightly, at Galder's expense, before handing her the trionnic lattice.

"You must get into Mika's room unseen," Rand instructs. "Get upstairs, somehow, and unlock his room using this. Get into his mainframe, and retrieve the data crystal. Then lock the door behind you, and that's that!"
