(How about we just kidnap one of the librarians, use mindtrick to get him away from the others and then force him to get us in. It would be more in line Rah's character that way too)

You'd need to do all of them, else the others will become suspicious. Not highly feasible.

Three here, but others in the library. Yopu might get away with that kind of thing for a bank heist, but not an elongated research session.

There is still background info to be gotten from those guys, but unless you can front them something they want they're not going to be very responsive; being top level people they think you are beneath them, anyway.
