USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE II (DARK SIDE)- In the Coils of the Serpent

(Umm...shit. I don't have Fix-it....)

(Unless Fix-it is not required, Galder might have to do it, or come with Rianna...)

(We'd better hope that Fix-it isn't required for the final grab, either...)

(hmmm...definitely need to find out about that....otherwise it could be very problematic...)

anything else?

(I take it then that Rah getting up to leave didnt tempt the slightly bolder librarian to quickly reconsider then our offer then. 🙁 )

(He didn't leave yet, did he? Got ready to leave 😛)

"Well, what sort of thing could we give you evidence that we know of a tablet? It's not like you won't be with us in the library - if we find something you'll know, and if we don't, you'll know. No loss either way, but we will find the information."

"Galder I would trust to be as subtle as a starship blowing up in a spaceport." Rianna says. "Tell me what I need to do."

The Dark Side did that once, though unusually, Galder wasn't there for it.

Ok! Nice to see this thread back to activity. A few things there...

-

Galder- yes, the explosives are strapped to the underside. Wouldn't leave much of the ship- bit of overkill, there. You can indeed happily check out the best route between ship and stairs should it come to that.

Hmm. There is a message bleep coming from inside the ship.

"Sounds important," says Kuylen. "If anyone is contacting you here they must have thought it was wirth the risk. That message could have been watiing for hours or more; a shame no-one has been checking the ship."

-

Lana- a trionnic lattice key? Uh-oh. If the upper floors use trionnic lattices that's going to be a real awkward situation.

The inner crystaline structure of these (very fragile) keys is what the locks will look for; one molecule out and the doors won't open. It's almost impossible to fool a trionnic lock (you woul need a huge fix-it score; intrusion won't help you).

Luckily the chances are all of Mika's doors open to this key, but once you give this keyback to Jena before she leaves, you won't be able to move around upstairs.

But whilst Jena is here, there is no chance of you guys pulling anything off about the tablet.

Tricky.

-

"Ohhhhhhh, Trionnic locks!" says Doon behind your shoulder, Rand. "That's a bastard. None of your people are good enough to sneak around AND open up such locks... man, what a bind! I could have done it, of course..."

-

Rah, no, that didn't impress them. They're obviously not ambitious in the way you are. Your head is starting to hurt again, btw.

"Sorry," says the louder one, "but we're not going to do a deal about anything in potential only. If you want into the library, you have to give us something solid that we want. You guys seem like collectors; I assumed you had some stuff."

-

I'll be watching...

you do that..
Takuan gets up and heads for yago...

to be continued ..😛

(hmm...fun...)

(Guys, do we have anything? I'm loathe to suggest lightsabers again...)

"Hmm, this Jenna is too smart, she might get a clue what we are up too... Me must gain momentum over her! Best idea would be to create a struggle between Lantarnans, what if I doublecross Jenna to Mika? We should use Chaos and Confusion as our weapons, true power of Darkside lies there!

"Takuan, what do you plan to tell Yago?"

(How about we take the guy to one side give him a small demonstration of the force to prove that we can deliver)

(Melkor, you might have a point there. Unfortunately I'm not sure if Mika wouldn't just go bulling in there and forget about protecting us fro Jena. Plus we'd lose the ships...

Baylin, if it's worth it we can ask for a representive they'll trust from among them... Show him the power of the dark side!)

It won't work. They don't care IF you can do it. They want goods up front before they will do anything.

"Not my fault," Galder says, turning to the aparition of the Force. "Rand was supposed to coordinate these things..."

Galder plays the message, propping up his legs on the dash.

"Not my fault, not my fault," mimics Kuylen. "What a whiny little runt you have become."

Well, this message has hardly been broadcast in clear, Galder, as that would be very dangerous. It's been sent on the emergency frequency and in an obscure SW version of Morse Code, which will then translate into garabage which will need further translation.

Sigh... this will take a little while

F R O M - D O O N - H O P E - I T - I S - G O I N G - W E L L - G U Y S

says the first sentence.

(Guys! Any ideas?)

"We should definately create as much Chaos as possible and steal Tablets when others are preoccupied.

Rianna since you are training security there are many possibilties of sabotage, what do you think?

And we could affect the mind of one of Jenna`s, Bora`s or Mika`s men, and make him attack Yago, who would likely do something stupid or could be manipulated. Assasinating Yigo would be the best, but very difficult.

But my journey to the Darkside has just begun, you are all more experienced( Gallador is definately frustrated that Galder and especially Takuan are significantly stronger than him, though he tries to hide it with slightly sarcastic and arrogant attitude). What do you think Master Rand, let your Wisdom guide us! We will show those thugs than they can`t just hide artifacts of the Sith and get away with this!"

( I assume we are able to gather to discuss the plan.)

More or less over the next day, yes.
