Is this some attempt to make me laugh? Because you can use synonyms in conjunction with one another. In case you didn't know (I'm assuming you don't since you're picking a fight) I used those words to describe what the event was like. Therefore words that overlap in meaning are bound occur occasionally. I wasn't using amusing to describe the hilarity of the event, but to describe how entertaining it was. I left hilarity to the word funny. See what I did? Good. Glad this is cleared up for you.

Yeah, I had no idea this was happening until like a week before it happened. There was NO publicity of this event anywhere, I was really surprised. What's even more surprising is that when I enquired about them they were only $35. I couldn't believe it.
