Not at all, and the sooner everyone realizes it, the better off you'll all be. Sorry that articulate myself in a way that isn't exactly "common". I'm pretty business minded, having attended a trade school, being an entreprenuer myself, I conduct myself professionally, aaaaaand I'm a debate freak, so if I go on a tangent, like this, forgive me.
I think we'll all be better off if you looked at your mod position, not as a professional business oriented job but more of a voluntary, hearty charitable service.
I've noticed that you do have this authoritarian, superior mentality about you.
Absolutely necessary if you want to run a successful business.
But it doesn't go over too well here.
Many people feel talked down to and looked down upon.
Why..better yet..how do my personal opinions have anything to do with my position? I'd share the exact same opinion if I WEREN'T a moderator, in fact, I'd be more vocal.
I'll tell you guys like I told B. I didn't change to become a moderator, I'm not going to change AS one, and drawing correlations between personal opinion and my position is unjust and unfair to me. I represent myself, first and foremost. I've got everyone's best interests in mind, and I'm not afraid to speak my mind, obviously.
How me suggesting that peoples opinions don't always influence someones personal decisions has anything to do with me being a mod is far, FAR beyond me, because it doesn't.
I don't expect any better treatment, I never asked for it either, so why treat me any different? Please don't, because it's more of a burden than a favor. Respect the title out of a default courtesy, respect the person once I earn it.
Thanks for understanding.

I think this might get out hand so please don't let this become a nasty fight. If you any problems deal with them on the pm. This isn't fair for the administrator or other members. Please, don't let this become a personal issues. Like Raz said, don't blow this outta proportion.
Not a problem.

What's been displayed here, and in the threads pertaining to the "Terminator" forum fiasco has nothing to do with being business minded. It's nothing more than me being a realist, and people taking offense to the possibility that there ARE somethings that possibly don't involve them, and things don't come free. That, more so in this thread, and I hope I've made that crystal clear by now.
There's not a thread of superiority in me. I'm competitive and involved. Ask Raz how much I care about these forums. He knows darn well how dedicated I am. People are mistaking my attempts at progress as opposition. Having laid things out as simply as possible, making it painfully obvious it's in all our best interests, how can it be my fault?
Sorry you guys don't see it the way I do. I don't know what else to say.
1. Stop getting bent out of shape because C-Dic used the term "outsiders". It's obvious that he simply meant people not on the moderating team, nothing more or less. It's stupid to get offended over such a thing.
2. The forums were moved to make the main page more convenient and less crowsed. Only forums that get major traffic should be on the main page, it makes perfect sense. The religion forum move is fine, as Tex said, it's actually more accesable now, only one click away.
3. This thread has served it's purpose, your questions have been answered and now its going way off topic. If you have any further comments or ideas as to how to improve the board, use the suggestion thread.
Closing.
