in the comic where Gorgon stuck a sword through Logan's throat, he was pretty much helpless until the soldiers pulled it out.

go re read the issue. He was unable to pull the sword out because he had no leverage and was pinned to a wall. He was still talking and quite able to fight. It took him and 3 shield agents to pull the sword out. Hell your example helps me out not you.
Why couldnt he use his legs to press uyp against the wall? You say he has super or enhanced strength right?

he does it been stated and shown. he was unable to. You have to see the pcture, but he on his knees in a way that would make it next to impossiable to press his feat to the wall.

ummm... he had a lot of leverage. his back was against a wall, all he had to do was grab the sword and push forwards.

I've read the comic.
I know he couldn't pull out the sword...which is pretty sad actually lol.
It doesn't matter what angle it was, he had all the leverage he should need to pull out the sword, but he couldn't.
