Smoking

bansmoke Let's have a session, duuudes.

Well given that weed has never killed anyone Bardock, I'd say definately.

To Syren:

Surprisingly, I do not smoke anything. I just don't like the general idea of smoking, whatever the substance is. The actual process of smoking is what I don't like.

😮 Sorry *hides joint*

I don't actually smoke weed any more... it completely screwed my head up, made me paranoid and slow. I HATE being slow 😬

Pass it here, I will ....err....take care of this evil stuff ✅

"They lie about marijuana. Tell you pot makes you unmotivated, LIE! When you're high on pot you can do everything you would do normally.....you just realise it's not worth the f*ckin' effort."

Milla is correct.

So is that, technically. Stimulants aren't necessarily non-violent things.

Just keeping that worm out there on the hook, metaphorically schprekening.

Yahuh. 👆 Besides, i run into the cocain argument too soon - not a lot is known about the dru anyway - being fairly new.

Sorro, I forget you cant see what i see. Anyway, I shall write out as much as i can about it, cos i dont have tons of time -

Heroin Harm - many overdose deathes result from poor general health, rather than acute intoxicanton. The danger of infection, including HIV is increased because of prohibition restricts the availability of clean syringes.

Crime and Voilence result from the criminal world being the source of supply. Heroin itself does not produce violence, but users may resort to crime to finance their habit.

Cocain Harm - Because of the expansion of illicit cocain market is relativly recent, knowledge remains somewhat resricted. Most moderate and recreational users experience no long-term adverse effects. The same harm from impurities, crime and violence applies as with heroin.
Risks - addiction is uncommon but possible, pariculary when used in crack form. Studies show that it is rare for moderate use to lead on to heavy use.

edit Im not promoting drugs, im making a point about the lesser dangers than smoking and alcohol.

Hhahaha thats good.
I personally never smoked, but it sounds like fun.
I go with South Park on that, for everything there is a right place, and its called college, yes

Drugs aren't the main problem in society, as Milla touched on.

It's the way they are dealt. For another thread though.

Thanks for taking the time to explain what you've learnt... if I take into account what you know from learning and what I know from experience, I'll be pretty damn knowledgeable 😄

That sort of knowledge, no disrespect intended, can be learned in any library though.

-AC

*is in library* 😱

I'll be right back.

I don't think people go to libraries enough. People should read more.

-AC

OMFG... apparently amphetamines (speed etc) are legal in the UK and US when prescribed as appetite suppressants 😑 And heroin as in morphine form.

I have all that for breakfast on toast.

-AC

Well thats something different though.

Libraries are cool though.

Ok, here is a section of text;

"Can you tell when someone has taken a drug?

Although they often cause the pupils of the eyes dilate, usually the only sign will be a change in behaviour. With heroin or cannabis, someone may seem more dopey and quieter than usual; with amphetamines, cocaine or ecstasy they may appear more lively."

I'm deducing that coke takes you up, smack brings you down. Ergo my statement about coke making people more violent. I've seen it.... 😬

Well, my grandfather and my unle smoked my grandpa died of lung cancer and my uncles dying from it so no I will never smoke

Yeah I don't like cigarettes.
Syren did you like your first cigarette

Every drug takes you "up" in hindsight.

It's the decline that varies.

I don't think there's a worse come down drug than heroin. Horrific. Feel sorry for people who get sucked into it, but....if they take the risk, only a certain amount of compassion can be felt.

Next time you're on MSN Sy, provided you're not still about to put a hit out on me, I'll send you some Bill Hicks stuff.
