Wolverine vs. Predator

As for the Machiko, she got the drop on some of them, used other weapons besides just wristblades and spear on others. At least, thats how it was in the books, I've not seen the comic versions of the books.

Like you said, it's hard to judge with preds cause they are like fodder, you can kill as many as you want and it won't effect dark horses business. Kill wolvie and Marvel loses 2/5 of its profits.

What the hell are you talking about? I was talking about the profits to simply state that they use preds as fodder, not as they should be used. Realisticly, look at it, who is going to write ANY hero dieing permanently to a predator? No one. Not that it decides the fate of the comic, the Preds do a damn fine job showing their skills anyways. I wasn't trying to use that to argue my point at all.

I've said it time and time again, any skilled pred will take down wolverine.

They will lose alot no doubt but Wolverine is still in less books then Spider-man and Batman is pretty close if not above him as well.

Wolverine has been shot in the face by machine guns.
He has survived having his f#cking skeleton ripped out out his body, dude. He can go-toe-to-toe with juggernaut, Hulk, and sabretooth.
Any one of them would have predator for breakfast.
This man has been fighting, hunting, and killing for over a 100 years.
He is one of the best in marvel(maybe the best at what he does)
He has been stabbed in the throat by marrow, in the f#cking throat, that would drop pred. He can heal up from being an eyeball.
He has been through hell and comes back good as new in 4 or 5 panels.

How the hell do you honestly expect Pred to beat him?
Speargun?(cause it moves at the speed of sound)
The force would not knock Logan out cause Hulk's fist packs hundreds if not thousands of times more force, even though Hulk wasn't at full strength his punches would destroy building and Loagn went one on one with that kind of raw power.
Cutting disc? I seriously doubt the disc can cut through "true"adamantium.
Pole? Ha.
Claw? That will just get him close enough for Logan to rip him apart.
Logan has every visible advantage over pred in every possible way concieved.
Pred can put up a decent fight if he stays cloaked, which won't work for long cause Logan can locate anyone by their smell.
So he will know pred is there and will figure out where he is hiding.
If pred hits him with the cannon or spear, it won't cause any serious damage. Logan will heal in seconds and pred will have revealed himself.
Logan will know what to look for.
Hell, the soldiers could see him even when he was cloaked if he moved.
Don't you think Logan(a mutant with inhanced senses) will see him too.
This is pointless, Wolverine will(in the words of lois griffin's master) unleash the beast on pred and ripp him to shreds.

Two, a pred would probably do exactly what Wolverine, Captain America, Daredevil, Black Panther, and Spiderman do against those two. Use their superior agility and reflexes to dodge until somebody saves them.

I see the match going like this: If its taking place in the marvel universe Im pretty sure the preds will be aware that mutants live on earth and therefore would scan logan with one of their vision modes and notice he has a metal skeleton. The predator could the do any of the following

(a). soak the canadian with plasma that'll remove all traces of flesh from wolverine. ( I dont think he'll heal from that in mere seconds)
(b). stay very far away and nail him with the spear gun.
(c). Get close and net him. ( the net will tighten until it reaches wolverines bones. He will not pop it by shear power, aliens cant even pop it, there acid blood does enable them to melt through it.
(d) stay far and rake him up with the disc.
(e) use the plasma cannon in his wrist( he uses it in predator 2)
(f) get close and go toe to toe, in which case I believe the average pred would lose, but a highly skilled one would have more than a chance. ( Toe to toe wolvies healing factor gives him the edge.

I'll give you Hulk and Juggs, but that doesn't help you at all, They'd do just the same to Wolvie. As for Sabes he's kinda in the same boat as Wolvie here.

HAHAHAHAHA! Dude, this just shows what little knowledge you have of Predators. They have extremely long life cycles, no less than 600 years, but up 3,000 (as far as I can figure cause they never actually say.) But it's definitley not less than 600. I mean damn, did you even see AVP? The elders bring there young to earth every hundred years. That would mean that they are young adults at about 50-100 years of age. Some books hint at even longer life periods.

Actually it's several times the speed of sound and is designed to completley rip aliens apart. (Aliens skin is about the strength of steel.)

Every advantage? Now you're just spouting off. Pred has strength, speed, most likely will have fighting ability, ranged weaponry, and cooler catch phrases and they can't even speak the language.

With what? so far from what I see you've got nothing, hell, I don't know if it was your poor post or what but you've even made me beleive the pred has an even better chance of winning than I did before.

wolverine still wins, i just can't see predator taking down wolverine, thus, fight to death, but if in fighting just for KO, then it is possible that predator can knock out wolverine, but the same can be said on the contrary, he can handle all their weapons, and only one strike from wolverine and predator's down. just one...thats it, GAME OVER.

He can handle having his limbs pined to his body with a net that's dug down to the bone?

At the most he can maybe free his legs but that leaves his upper body stuck together. In fact, it might de-flesh his upper body.

the bottom line is if average humans (danny and arnolds characters in the movies) can escape and avoid the predators most dangerous moves wolverine will have no problem doing the same

Anyway. I think you all are giving WAY too much credit to Wolverine's healing factor. Yes, I know it is great. I have A VAST NUMBER of X-men comics and a large majority of those involve Wolvie healing himself. Yes, he can do it, I know.

But you seem to increase the speed at which he heals with every single post that you make (I'm directing this towards anyone in general, just people who said this). Hell, I'll even make a movie reference just to help. Wolverine got shot in the head. Did he die? No. Was he knocked out for about five minutes? Yes. And that was just one bullet to the forehead. The Predator can do so much more damage than that bullet ever could.

And burning. Burning seems to take Wolvie the longest to recuperate from. And guess what Super-heated plasma does? It burns. And that, frankly, is an understatement. Plasma disintergrates basically. Wolvie's adamantium skeleton can withstand it all he likes. I'm not arguing that. I am, however, arguing that Wolvie's skeleton can not regenerate Wolverine himself. If Wolvie is burnt to nothing but his skeleton, he loses. And shots to vital organs also take longer for Wolverine to heal, so if Predator decided to aim for certain areas, like the lungs, the intestines, etc., Wolverine would have some mad amount of pain on his hands. Yes, Wolvie does feel pain, which has shown to slow him down and make him much more succeptable to attacks. It has happened.

Predator, in fact, has every advantage in this fight. Wolverine really doesn't stand a chance. And this is coming from a die-hard X-men fan. Facts are facts.

The only way that Wolverine could win, is if Predator decided to take a break to let Wolverine heal. Pred would pick up the morning paper and his coffee and just relax for awhile, catching up on the latest stock recaps. It is in this time that Wolvie could possibly stab him through the head, but that is ONLY if Pred is preoccupied with the comics.

Predators even outclass wolverine in cool healing.

You can't beat breaking a vial in half then jamming the fluid, and glass, into your wounds. Then rawring.
