look at my sig for how it works, it also shows him freezing heat beams by the stranger.
Also he has control over molecular motion, go to the respect thread on the last page is really good description of his powers on that. Also in X-men forever he was shown to have a certain control over "everything" whatever that is supposed to mean concerning his powers.
And yes he still has all his powers the only thing that was gone was his secondary mutation, so he can turn from human to ice and back. Thats all that has left him.
So to take Human Torch all he has to do is stop all the molecules flying around creating heat, while the Torch to stop him would have to do a supernova (which takes time) and the Flash freeze is faster, even then its debatable since Iceman could "teleport" away from the blast really fast. Look at the sig and on one of the pics Prosh talks about how quickly Iceman could get to one state from another one in the nation (I know it was from Boston to another state but I cant remember which one) before Mystique pulls trigger to kill her son.

I actually think the FF can tae this. I remember an issue of X-men where Bobby was a disemobied head and couldn't reform himself because there was not enough moisture in the air. If thats the case I feel that then the torch beats him.Colossus vs Thing? I think that would be a stalemate. Nightcrawler vs Mr Fantastic? Nightcrawler can't hurt him physically but Reed has a hard time catching him. Many ppl underestimate Reed, but with his brillant mind and his being nearly impervious to physical injury he is much more dangerous than people imagine.
Jean is the X-Factor here, with her telepathy she could probably take down the FF. W/o it? Sue takes her out.
Plus the FF has written the book on teamwork. Sue and Johhny could just do that thing (can't remember the name) where she puts some of Johhny's concentrated plasma into a field and puts it into a target. If they get this off on Jean then she's out and the FF wins this round.
Of course there's evidence that a Jean fresh out of the cocoon couldn't get through IW's shields. There's no evidence that Sue can get through Jean's shield either...
this is STILL going on? i thought it was fairly agreed the x-men win months ago, thanks to jeans pre-phoenix NXM power levels, iceman's godness, and colossus' superiority over thing.
hm.
wynndar, you know damn well that jean didn't have telepathy fresh out of the cocoon, and you also know that sue harming celestials and galactus was PIS involving hyperspace.
shame.
I think it depends on who the x men are. Some X men are powerful enough to defeat all the F4. Jean as phoenix would probably burn them out of existance. i mean, if the x men wanted to take out the F4 they would have members who would be more than a match.
But if we're going with four x men... I would probably say Emma Frost(invisible woman), Ice man(human torch), Collossus(the Thing)and Storm(Mister Fantastic)
This is such a good battle 😄
Colossus and Thing go off and have a day long slobberknocker, after which they both get tired and fall asleep
Mr Fantastic keeps trying to wrap up Nightcrawler, only for Nightcrawler to teleport away
The real battle is Jean Grey and Iceman vs Sue Storm and Human Torch
Who out of Iceman and Human Torch has greater control over their molecular make up - seems like a stalemate
Can Jean Grey penetrate Sue Storm's barrier, can Jean Grey repel Sue Storm's attacks persistently
I don't know so I say draw 😛
I don't see how Iceman can be killed by any of F4 so if fight to the death, they cannot technically win anyway
