Closing Time

No alcohol served here, no whiskey, no beer,
Just acrid dust and bitter tears,
The love and the thoughts I held so dear,
Have been clipped off with mental shears,

I cannot have and hold this gem,
I'm always at fate's whim,
She belong with another, I hope she finds him,
Before her dreams grom dim.
