Fallin
Down the spiral you twist and go, screaming all the way,
Faster south and towards the woe, the sinking crying fae,
A faery plummeting with cut wings, shrieking from her pains,
Once sounding pleasant, now mournfully sings, as more of her strength drains,
Forgotten by all save a foolish one, a knight who lost his heart,
She'd stolen it away with just a glance, from the very start,
Not knowing or seeing as he chased after the naughty lass,
Now tumbling desperately she thinks to him, running across the grass,
Drenched in sweat and morning dew, her pains seem to ease and hide,
Through all the torment she summons her will, and he is by her side,
Cupping cheeks stained pink with tears that fall from saddened eyes,
Her walls have fallen as she stands naked, bereft of any disguise,
And there filthy and forlorn she believes he'll flee her sight,
But all he does is draw her close, supporting her with his might,
Clothing her with his shirt though winds whip and chill the skin,
His heat warm her without as his kiss warms from within,
Now up in his arms he lifts her form, warmer but still so cold,
"The best love, my love, is from this heart, neither youthful, nor old,
"And the best rest and peace you'll ever have shall be within my arms,
Where you are forever safe and secure from all foes, wickedness, and alarms."
For a friend.

so very true cold.
Every little step...
Moving, grooving, swaying to my beat,
Walking, stalking, strolling down the street,
Grinning, laughing, doing my own thing,
I can't believe this is anything but a dream.
Here I am, the one-eyed Jack, Spade for all time,
Living my life, living this way, according to some grand design,
Plans I made fell apart like wet clay, and were left far behind,
This endless road and walk I take puts my life in a bind,
Can't share with those who do not go the same way I do,
Can't ever seem to grasp this dream, I can't ever find you...

Fairy Tail
I am Sir Launcelot, I am Beowulf,
I am a swordswinger, I am a Knight,
I am a King, a Thief, a Warrior of Light,
Yet I dwell in darkness, never enough.
I come from stories, now anciently told,
Out of mother's mouths to little girls,
Who in turn dream of me entering their worlds,
But like the deep oceans, I'm just too old,
I was here when the stones first stood alone,
Before Pharaoh, Noah, before their kind,
With all my age, I'm still so blind,
I cannot see my way back home.
So here I stay, tormented, haunted, haunting,
You'll see me in dreams, keeping watch over you,
Wings spread, sword blazing; my kind now so few,
Still here, still for thee, still fighting.
