perhaps the answer is to standardise the education of it to kids, and let the law enforce that it is taught in schools according to that standard, to assure that no systems ignore the quota. it would be quite heavy handed, but no more so than outlawing the act of public spoken ignorance, and far more productive right?

in Belgium the law enforces what schools must teach to students
Fire> Same in Canada. 😉
Canadian school-children MUST be taught:
-The Theory and Proof(s) of Evolution
-The World Wars and the Holocaust
-Etc.
It is also mostly mandatory to teach kids:
-Tolerance of ALL people, no matter what race of nationality
-Tolerance of ALL people's cultures, and respect of them
😉
BACK TO TOPIC:
The Holocaust was the most disgusting and horrible atrocity committed to a group of Humans, (no less the Jewish people 🙁 ).
We should ALL OF US look back on those times, and learn from our ignorances and our prejudices (sp?). We should REMEMBER what happened in those camps and to all those people, and the acts of heroism carried out by those people and the soldiers who fought to "free them"-though they did it only to "Stop the Germans", not to "Save the Jews". 🙁
I do not blame the Germans or anybody TODAY who lives in the countries where those atrocities took place, (hell, there was a huge Nazi-movement here, in Quebec). I HATE and DETEST those who willingly DID those acts, however, and I hope they all burn in hell, and wish they could have suffered the same fate as their victims. 😠
I REMEMBER THE HOLOCAUST.
Well when the colonists use early form of biologically warfare(infected cloths with smallpox) in the 1700's-1800's to kill tens thousands of native Indians in Ontario, Canada it is part of Canadian history not french or British history. It is a dark chapter but it must be accepted.
Also 2nd we should never ever give Neo-Nazis the right to speak what ever they please. I would rather give that right to Communist. The Holocaust is there to remind us how terrible humanity can treat each other and how evil the Nazis where.
Also its there to tell the world that never again we shall let fascists rise back to power. Giving neo-Nazis the right to speak hate publicly is failing that promise. So in Canada if you create any type of public hate you can be charged. A famous radio station lost it's license in Quebec city because it had hate on it. Not anti-jew hate but hate.
IN CANADA THE CHARTER OF RIGHTS SAY'S YOU CAN SPEAK WHATEVER YOU PLEASE. HOWEVER!!! THERE IS THE EQUALITY RIGHT!!!
So you can say whatever unless it is hateful to people by gender, disability, religion, race or colour or now included gays.
So if i go call into a call in radio station and i make a very racists comment, the radio station would be fined not the person. Same for TV networks, companies. Usually fines are put against groups not single people.
