That's the dumbest thing i heard in about a week!! I don't even know were to begin with that. First i didn't say that but yes even though this was 200 years ago Canada should be very forgiving to natives. Poor people.However you must accept that the Holocaust was caused by German Nazis in the 1940's!! So technically it is part of your history and IMO should be the most important thing.
No seriously this is so dumb, if you get only taught what bad your country did how shoukld you get any sort of patriotism? Well of course it was bad but what else should we do, we made our country save from every being like that again, we paied the jews money its the center of our history classes our Jewish community can practically do whatever they want since, we gert reminded of it every week. Don't you think this is a little bit to much for kids that were born 50 years later and grow up with the feeling of being guilty of something they never did anything. We don't forget itt but its a litlle just a tiny little bit too much.

every other powerful nation has to live with its skeletons and so does germany. you know where the salem witch trials happened? AMERICA. sure, technically it wasnt my country since it was still under british rule, but its part of american history.
