I see them again tonight. I'm pretty pumped.

The concert was awesome as expected.

comparing to last year:

Pluses: Tre Cool sang "All By Myself"

Negatives: There was no element of surprise since it was almost identical to their show last year
The band they created from audience members wasn't half as cool as last years.

Oh well, it's still ****ing Green Day.

Oh, and I think it was a lot more 12-16 year old girls than last year too. 😬

They better be. I guess in all reality, I got into Green Day at age 10. Better GD than Good Charlotte.

Ok, there should be a rule:
Obviously at any age you should be allowed to listen to them, but they need a 17 and up rule or something.

No, I'm saying they can like them at that age, they just can't attend the concerts at that age.

That's an Understatement!

Green Day aren't at all over-rated. Having millions of fans doesn't suggest such. Their music is as basic as it gets. It takes literally no skill, power chords over and over. They got rich on some pop tunes, little girls falling love with Billy Joe and selling their politics to children packaged in pop music.

Their actualy musicianship is pretty much null and void.

Green Day didnt make American Idiot to get rich. They had already accomplished that wth Dookie.
