GOD is a WOMAN

But it still says "he"... I can show my "feminine side" and still be 100% male. Another possibility (remember I actually believe in an anthropomorphic God) is that when God said "Let us make man in our own image" One of the "us" was his female counterpart.

But Going by the Bible the "one true" God is definitely male.

This is why I love KMC....

It could be multiple and evertthing.......

Elohim (אֱלוֹהִים , אלהי&#1501😉 is a Hebrew word which expresses concepts of divinity. It is apparently related to the Hebrew word ēl, though morphologically it consists of the Hebrew word Eloah (אלו&#1492😉 with a plural suffix. Elohim is the third word in the Hebrew text of Genesis and occurs frequently throughout the Hebrew Bible. Its exact significance is often disputed.

In some cases (e.g. Ex. 3:4 ...Elohim called unto him out of the midst of the bush...), it acts as a singular noun in Hebrew grammar (see next section), and is then generally understood to denote the single God of Israel. In other cases, Elohim acts as an ordinary plural of the word Eloah (אלו&#1492😉, and refers to the polytheistic notion of multiple gods (for example, Ex. 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.). This may reflect the use of the word "Elohim" found in the late Bronze Age texts of Canaanite Ugarit, where Elohim ('lhm) was found to be a word denoting the entire Canaanite pantheon (the family of El אל, the patriarchal creator god).

In still other cases, the meaning is not clear from the text, but may refer to powerful beings (e.g. Gen. 6:2 the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them for wives..., Ex. 4:16 and you [Moses] will be as Elohim to him [Aaron], Ex. 22:28 Thou shalt not curse Elohim, or curse a ruler of your people, where the parallelism suggests that Elohim may refer to human rulers).

If God WAS a 'she', wouldn't it be called a Goddess?

I suppose that would be my proper title.........yes..

How about we come up with a gender neutral title for God? Tranny?

Ok, now my big question is.....

How did you find those hebrew symbols? That would have made the grammar debate between me and Jury on the One God thread sooo much cooler.

PS. Do you really know hebrew and if so at what level? fluent?

Look at the time I posted it....It was 5:58 A.M..........Do you think I would remember???? ❌

The physical purpose of gender is to have its opposite..to create the next generation....as many Christians believe.

so why would GOD have a gender? He doesnt need 1 since he doesnt need to have sex to pro create.

God is a force in my opinion....not a person.

Then why did you call god a he???

Because that's what im used to hearing its by relfex.

When I ask someone their dog's name, i go "what's his name"

Its REFLEX not actual beleif.

Using caps is just as stupid as using bold.

Of course God is a man. Woman would never mess up like this.

They would, just not so consistently.

You know, like once a month, or so.

But a man would create women first, and stop time at the right moment.

shock Quote for truth! Best post I have seen at KMC for a long long time 😛

You're all wrong, god is a kuhglinian

Yeah God is a woman...that's why Jesus called him God the Father.

god is a wandering concept looking for a meaning in the ocean of nothingness. just like everything else.

lol. i doubt any god cud be confined by nature by such trivial concepts as male/female.

god is the will that drives all.
