Here we call soccer "football" (or "futbol"😉 because it was played first here by british inmigrants in their schools in the late XIX century. It gain a lot of popularity in the 20s as an ameteur sport and it became professional in the earñy 30s....

Your kind of football is almost never played here, but the NFL has a big fanbase in my city (at least I know a few guys who watch the games on cable...).

Almost all of argentinians agree that baseball is the second most boring sport ever.

my fovourite european football league is the english... their matches are a feast to the senses (maybe I´am exagerating...).

Alas, I preffer basketball. In the last NBA season i was rooting hard for the Spurs. I am amazed at what Ginobilli can do, both in the NBA and in our national team... I mean we beat the US team twice! that is not a small feat!
