Queeq i need ur advice on camera lens. which lens do you think i'll have the most use out of.
a Telephoto Zoom Lens, or a Mirror Lens?
I'd like to have a Zoom lens for when i see soemthing far far away and want to take a picture of it. but I'm not sure what a mirror lens is... To me, its like an eye ball from the way it bounces and reflects light in it... but can you ZOOM with the lens? or is it just like a magnify glass and u only get just the close up of w/e ur looking at?
A mirror lens??? I think that just has to do with the type of camera. We call a professional camera a mirror relfex camera.
A telephoto lens is nice if you want to photgraph things very far away. But how often does that happen? I can recommend, of you do buy one, get one of those sticks... a sort of mono-tripod. Dunno their name. It's just a long stick you can support your camera. For telephoto it's kinda important to keep the camera steady.
But I found the most joy from a wide angle lens. I had three lenses once and found myself using the telephoto lens the least.
And depending on what kind of lens you get, you can zoom. If you get a prime lens, you can't zoom. But most lenses have a certain range.

I'm still fond of the Zoom Lens i found on Ebay. this it
I need a Len that'll blur the background behind the subject IMEDIATLY, bcuz i HATE taking pictures and the background being in focus... grrr. so much extra work on Photoshop.

I am not a professional photographer. But I use a Sony Cyber Shot P200. (compact) It gets the job done for what I do. I like the resolution (7.2 mp) I just wish it had more than 3x zoom..
I think someday I will buy an attachment to make it zoom in more.
As for skinny dipping guys...think about being naked in a dark pond with snapping turtles...think about it.
OUCH!!!!

You saw a tiny snake eh? Queeq I think she is trying to insult you.
But seriously, I am very fearful of snakes, I hate them, they all scare me badly....gah!!!!!!
I'll be cutting grass on a hot summer day and see something moving or something dark and long on the grass moving and I'll look and it will be a snake and I will be like "holy !@#$" a !@#$%^ snake! Then for the next 5 minutes I will jump and freak out at anything that looks like a snake like sticks, etc. If I know a snake is in the area or expecting one I have no problems though, just can't get close to it.
