I need a Len that'll blur the background behind the subject IMEDIATLY, bcuz i HATE taking pictures and the background being in focus... grrr. so much extra work on Photoshop.
andyou cant go wrong with USM. [/B]
THat lens sounds pretty long to me:300mm... That'll do nicely.
But the out-of-focus background has to do with depth of field. The amount of depth of field can be achieved in several ways: it's dependent on the focal length of the lens, the distance to the object and the amount of light available an'/or on your subject.
The greater the distance to the object, the less out of focus the background will be.
The longer the lens the more out of focus the background will be. But if you move further away from the object, the background comes more into focus.
The more light on the object in comparison to the background, the more out of focus the background will be. And then you can use combinations of that. So it's not JUST a matter of lens usage.
Yeah, but he said he would have to pull the one below it because it wouldnt have a tooth to bite against, so then I would have to pull a perfectly good tooth. Im more worried about the pain then the price. I made a thread asking if people had done it, they all said with the anesthesia that it didnt hurt.
