And 16:9 has nothing to do with HD. 16:9 is the screen format. It exists in SD as well. HD says something about the resolution.. i.e. the number of screen lines. HD just has many more than SD.

And HD is 16:9 because that is the common standard by now.

ha my first repair job on a vista system was success!! (havent been sober enough to work on anyones pc in a couple years but Im taking what I can get right now..lol..) video driver update screwed it up...took a bit but I DO NOW know verizon wireless picks up in my house..the other wireless services did not...Im downloading all kinds of stuff b4 I have to give the laptop back..hehe...smallville episodes I missed.. tech tools that take me hours to download etc...a good day it is!...nice having two connections running at same time..just turn around in my chair and Im on high speed..wohoo..gotta get verizon!
