I said that there is no evidence that the death penalty has any preventive effect. There is no change in crime between states in the US that have and do not have the death penalty. Also, there's no noticeable change when states abolish the death sentence, which again proves that the preventive qualities of the death penalty are non-existent.So then it all comes down to using it for some sense of wrath or gratification. And frankly, I do not see what benefit anyone can have from killing a person. You will not get your loved ones back, it will not undo the damage done, all it gets you that it may feel good to have someone killed. That's a scary thought.
Now, a proper punishment, sure. Who can arue with that. The victims usually get life, why not let the perpetrator have life as well.
Agree but some things don't make sense. Europe has strict gun laws and seem to have very few gun crimes, whenever a place in the states tightens gun laws crime gets worse because criminals take advantage of the thought that fewer guns in the hands of law abiding citizens means they are safer.

who'd want that?that'll be insanely infamous, then. I wonder how many people would actually want to buy it or something...
I'd probably buy one or two criminals to place in our dungeon entertainment room or something. That would be cool.
lol I never thought of that. They should carbon freeze one million criminals, hide where they are and time it to where they all unfreeze at the same time 45 years later and leave a bunch of weapons for them.
Hahaha. When the past attacks the future!
