It is my 4th favorite Zelda game. The Music, Story, Characters, and dialogue were all fantastic. The Cell-shaded graphics were good at some points (On the sea, and most of the bosses looked cool.) but just looked stupid at others (I.E. The Re-deads looking like zombie-clowns and Ganondorf being so fat and shiny.) And the long sea voyages with nothing to do got really boring after a while, especially when you were hunting the shards of the Triforce of Courage.

I hear ya. What I liked was that it was different, and the story rocked. The sea voyages lagged a bit, but at least there was an awesome score to listen to in the background. haha The theme played when sailing I think is my favorite theme of any Zelda game.

Supposedly we're going to get our first glimpse at E3 this June. Probably looking at a 2011 release date.

I don't know. I'm still a fan of the Gerudo Fortress theme.

Looks like Zelda is coming out this year!

Another, more credible source: IGN http://wii.ign.com/articles/105/1058479p1.html

Hmmm, so I know Nintendo has done this in the past, in fact, they pushed Twilight Prinecss back an entire year, but this Zelda game has been in development since late 2005 according to Miyamoto. If they say it's coming out this year, I believe it. I'm going to guess it'll probably fall around mid to late November.

what'd you two think of spirit tracks?

My little nephew has Spirit Tracks on his DS. I've played bits and pieces of it with him, but I don't actually own a DS, so I can't play the entire thing. But it seems like a ton of fun.

I'll admit though, I'm way more into the console Zelda games.

I thuroughly enjoyed it. Personally, I thought it was one of the better Zelda games I have played... still working it on placing it on my list of Favorite Zelda Games though...

Enticing? That is an excellent offer. Less than half the price you'd pay at Game Stop.

*Disclamer*I DID NOT SAY THAT!*End Disclamer*

I don't know, I've always had a problem with people holding console games on this pedistal over Hand-held games. Yea, I will give you that in general console games are better if the handheld game is a ported version of the console game.

Especially with games like Zelda.

I mean, in my personal opinion games like Link's Awakening, Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, and Spirit Tracks all beat out several of the console games in terms of quality.

Handheld systems, I think, are often overly stigmatised because they don't have the highest graphical qualities, or the ports from consoles are just plain aweful. But that all goes to the limitations of the system itself, honestly I have played some hand held games that I thought were excellent. Metroid Fusion, Spirit Tracks, The Mario and Luigi games, Sonic Chronicles, Poke'mon, Link's Awakening, Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons are all great games. But, to each his own.

Any way that was my rant.

Honestly, the only reason I felt the desire to type any of this is because of a friend who tends to blow off some great Zelda games as "not worth his time." simply because they are on handheld systems.

Usually requiring my help.

Oh I hear ya Mandrag. I have absolutely nothing against handhelds whatsoever. I just haven't took the initiative to get one. I'm always either playing Flight Simulator on my PC, or games on my PS3 and Wii. Never really got around to handhelds, since I was a kid with my gameboy. haha

My nephew has a DS, and we play it alot when he's over, and I do like it, and you better believe if the day comes and I own a DS, I'll get Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass for sure.

havent played many games in awhile but zelda does sound good...the original nes version! guess its time to break out the old nintendo and see if it still works if not there are other ways..lol
