Oh I hear ya Mandrag. I have absolutely nothing against handhelds whatsoever. I just haven't took the initiative to get one. I'm always either playing Flight Simulator on my PC, or games on my PS3 and Wii. Never really got around to handhelds, since I was a kid with my gameboy. hahaMy nephew has a DS, and we play it alot when he's over, and I do like it, and you better believe if the day comes and I own a DS, I'll get Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass for sure.
😄 Good to hear. I don't know, I've considered getting rid of my Wii from time to time (It just sits and collects dust, really) but then I remember that there is a Zelda game coming out for it. It's so disappointing that there is nothing that good on the Wii except for Zelda, Mario, Super Smash Bros. and Metroid. I've heard No More Heroes is good, and the Conduit was allright, but other than that there's really nothing worth me playing. Especially when we have Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain, and Bioshock 2 coming out in the next two months.
I do like the Virtual Console though...

I miss my NES. It died along time ago... RIP NES.
My Super Nintendo is on it's last leg also, though I think if I could find a replacement cord to connect it to the TV it will work just fine again.
As much as I love the Wii, you're right about it sitting around and collecting dust.
The last full game I played on it was the "Force Unleashed" which was extremely enjoyable. I played it earlier last year a couple times through, and man, the motion controls were awesome.
Thing is, while the games are few and far between, when they do come around, it makes the Wii worth it. Just like when the new Zelda game comes out this year, even if the Wii has been idle for a while, it's worth it all over again.
I do wish though it was still like the N64 days. How many great titles were there for that platform? The list is endless.
I know. I beat the game in I think 7 hours? 🙁 That was the downside. Thing is, I played it a second time through because I still had missing holocrons and lightsaber crystals to look for. So that added a little bit more gameplay time, but it was short. I'm hoping though that they'll follow up with another one. That game had a terrific story with alot of potential to build on.

This just makes my day!

I never got to experience the N64 days. My parents decided to buy my brother and me a Playstation instead of an N64. I had to wait untill Master Quest came out on Game Cube to play OOT and the Collector's Edition for Majora's Mask...
It still upsets me even to this day. 😠

Aw man 🙁 The N64 was the first console I ever owned. 2 Zelda titles, Star Fox, Shadows of the Empire, Goldeneye, Mario Kart....I can keep going on and on. lol I loved the Gamecube, as I love the Wii as well, but as far as titles are concerned, the N64 had soooo much to pick from.
SNES was my first console (well, technically it was my brother's, but we'll not get caught up in the details) A Link to the Past, Mega Man X (1,2, & 3), Earth Worm Jim, Donkey Kong Country, and many more. were some of my favorite games growing up. Then I got a Playstation and didn't have as much on it... Mostly Mega Man X games, Tomba, Spyro, Splinter Cell, and a few others were the only games I played and really enjoyed on the Playstation. Played my bro.'s copy of GTA from time to time, but it was kind of a "meh" game... the GTA series still is kinda "meh" as far as I am concerned, actually...
I'm just now trying to catch up on what I missed with the N64 now that I finally own one (bought it from a guy for $10 who tried to trade it in at gamestop.)
I also had the NES, but I really only played Duck Hunt on it, (I always played it with the gun pressed against the TV screen to hit the ducks. It was my favorite game back then.) sometimes Super Mario Bros. and by the time I really started playing video games the SNES was the big system. Ah, memories.
Anyway... ... ... ... ...
I love how I have been really wanting snow for the past month or so now, and the one time it finally snows enough for mention is on the one day that it became inconvienient. I was supposed to go out to Lexington to pay my tuition, get my books, and pick up a couple of other things that I can only get there, and I couldn't get there today. Thanks alot, Karma.
That's cool. I never got to play SNES games on the original SNES since that was a bit before my time, but my brother and I years ago downloaded the games that had been transferred over on PC. They were tons of fun.
All I know is that my year has been made. 😄 Force Unleashed 2 and Zelda, both on the Wii in 2010. I can't wait!

I have very fond memories of the Super Nintendo like Playing A Link to the Past with my Great-Grand Mother watching, and reading the text to me. And Playing Super Return of the Jedi with my Brother, and asking him what Houdinni was, because that's what I thought the Jawas they yelled every time you shot one. And playing Tetris Attack at a neighbors house and being scolded for calling one of the bosses an idiot.
Man, now I want to play Tetris Attack again. Ironically, Tetris Attack was nothing like Tetris at all... It is more of a bejeweled like game.
OH! And Harley's Humungous Adventure! I never could get past that blasted bath tub level.
is downloading tv episodes legal....found some but they say no commercials isnt having the commercials what makes it legal? or do you still have to pay for non cable over the air tv too when you d/l it??googled it but many conflicting stuff..dont want to get busted over some damned over the air tv shows...if I wanted/willing to get busted Id go for the big stuff like new movies..lol...anyone for sure know????
