She's still around (we're Facebook friends) but I don't keep in contact with her, really. We're both at university generally learning to become adults.

At some point TRA - I do vaguely remember the name and also the management changing? - disappeared off my bookmarks and then it got lost in the sands of time. Found it and re-registered 😄

Sorry to hear about your mom, JP. How are you holding out?

Well this weekend was tough since it was Memorial Day and the one month anniversary of her passing away. I really did expect my mom to live into her 80's. Dad died 7 years ago at 70 and mom was 71. To be honest, I kind of feel like an orphan if that makes sense.

The knee that I had replacement surgery on is getting better. I need to decide when to do the other one. My son is getting married in September, so I am going to try and hold out until my youngest is on winter break from college.

She's going to be moving to the KC area and living with her big sister and that's going to kill me. She's always been with me and I tried to get her to wait one more year but she's determined to go so mama is just going to have to suck it up I guess. 🙁

Well, the kitchen's a bit of a mess.

Kickballjedi slowly walks into the cantina, his pilot suit and vest looking like he's slept in them for days. He steps up to the bar, raises his goggles up to his forehead and orders a drink.

The bartender slides a tall glass of Purple Drank over to the freighter pilot, and as Kickballjedi looks around, sizing up the scum and villainy he sees lounging around, he says "If anybody has a problem with me, they can discuss it with my 'Wok here".

Unnoticed until now, a small brown and black furred Ewok steps out from behind Kickballjedi. He is about 3 feet tall, but armed to the teeth with gun belts and a laser crossbow. He growls.

Owner walks up to Kickball: "How would you like your Ewok today, sir? Fried, boiled, skinned or sushi style?"
