Are there any rumors of Jedi ghosts? The reason I ask is that Obi-Wan is my favorite character, and I would love to see him in some form in the new trilogy.

I would love to have Ewan McGregor back as a ghost. It was rumored at one point...

I don't think it's going to happen though. I have feeling they are going to pretend the entire PT doesn't exist with these movies.

Nah, I don't think they'll do that. How can they? The most recent entry to the canon, TCW, borrows heavily from the PT universe, and Rebels most likely will too. They have to establish continuity with the PT somehow.

It'll also represent a definitive break from the Legends post-ROTJ EU. For so much of that, the prequels didn't exist - and it wasn't until the Dark Nest Trilogy, i.e. something like 30 years post-ROTJ, that Luke and Leia found out the whole story because ROTS had come out. That's something that should be rectified.

Why would they need to find out. All Luke and Leia need to know is their father was Vader and the dark side is a threat that can engulf an entire galaxy.

All the Qui-Gon stuff, the origins of the droids, clones, Padme… who cares? Irrelevant for any future events.

Why? OB1 is dead… he came back as a ghost in the form of Alec Guinness. Ewan in SW? Nevermore.

Yes! By far the best actor in the prequels, and just a great actor all-in-all. And he's so charming!

Oh I agree on his acting talents and personality. I like him very much and I think the PT would have been much worse without him. But I don't need to see him in SW anymore.
