Why the Rest of the World Hates U.S.

*sigh*

there is no point. he wants to say they hate us for just being...us.
and thats a load of bullshit from someone claiming to know what it is to suffer because he SAW suffering. you dont know shit about suffering pal, same as i dont. difference is, i wouldnt dare trivialise the plight of those less fortunate than me, in an attempt to somehow put myself above everyone else here. you have NO right to browbeat any of us.
and there was not a shred of sarcasm there to note.

you want to give your view of why they hate us then fine, but quit pretending you are one of those who's lives suck, because you are not.

I said it before… So and I’ll say it again.

“People” don’t hate “The US.” First of all it’s ludicrous to “hate” a concept. “The US” is a geographical man-made concept.
Secondly – I think the Bush-administration (which scares the sh*t out of me) is perfectly well aware of the fact that its action causes resentment. So it blah’s to the American people, that “the rest of the world” hates “the US.”
I for one don’t. I have friends in the states, and a for the rest of you guys – I don’t even know you.
But I can see what Bush, Cheeney and Rumsfeld are up to. I don’t like that.

Yes, but because of the majority of the American voting system Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld are representing the very outlook of what America stands for and what Americans want. Or they wouldn't be in otherwise. So when you hate the administration you must also hate the people that put them there (I'm not saying all Americans did, just the bible-loving ignorant ones) So ' the rest of the world hates the U.S.' could be a reasonable and legitimate comment because the U.S. is made up from the individual states that have their vote, the people that actually vote within those states and the administration which is brought in to govern them. If the people decide to re-elect a president which has just illegally invaded another country and is going to continue his misguided assault on the Middle East and possibly, Korea, then it's perfectly okay to hate that country as a whole.

LSZ, not EVERY american voted nor did many of those that voted gave their voice to bush

hating americans cause they voted for bush would be quite stupid considering the ACTUAL amount that voted for him, and we don't know every american that did cause perhaps they had a pretty darn good reason

Read my post again please. It says, in brackets:

Thankyou for your time.

yeah, but those very few americans are not worth hating... nor would many europeans or where-ever you're from talk to them much... internet is the tool of the devil you see 😉

It doesn't matter which country I come from or how much contact I've had with Americans. It's still a fact that the majority of the vote in the American voting system went to Bush in the re-election and the people that did vote for him then for what ever reason must have realised that they should be and would be, held accountable for the milions of lives they have destroyed in Iraq.

P.S. Before you put the blame on me for being a British citizen and my country's involvement in this - I haven't been of age to vote so the actions of Tony Blair have nothing to do with me.

there ya go: you're not responsible for getting Blair into office

the americans that didn't vote and those that voted on Kerry and Nadar are still bigger than those who voted on bush
I know people that voted for bush, and they always use the national security as their excuse, that's something non-americans can't judge since they don't live in the states

Well the US is probably the most protected country in the world though

but obviously not good enough if you see what happened a few years ago

What? does 9/11 ring a bell. Some protection.

Dude I want to see how your counrtry attacks the US you would probably be conquered in a few month.

And 9/11 was just a cowardly attack that means that there can be some harm dione to ysour citizens b ut that doesn'T mean that the US isn'T protected, if you can name just one country where this couldn'T have happened than I shall shut up in this thread.

This surely is sad but seen from a strategic point of view it was nothing, could Iraq have done to you what you did to them? I don't belive so.

What? So Kerry & Edwards didn't offer a deal of national security? He was milking his war credentials a bit too much but at least he looked reasonably sane. Boring but sane.

You know the US is not known for changing there leader during time of war.

Yeah, and Germany now would take a week. At least in World War 2 you had an army.

Did I say that, did I say that I wish Britain to attack the U.S. No , I don't believe I did. Hating a country and wanting to invade or attack a country are two different things. Unfortunately America doesn't have this kind of restraint when it comes to world politics.

Well that was an example.
The UWS just is the most protected country whatever you want to say.

its fashionable to hate americans.

the people that have a genuine right to hate the U.S. are piss poor and
cant afford to get online and voice their opinion. instead we have people who act like they are one of the downtrodden when really they are just jumping on some bandwagon and acting like the spokesman for everyone who is oppressed. "shame on you america" they say, as they turn a blind eye to the support from their own government.

Lord Shadow Z, i notice you bash on america and seem to place no blame on england...AT ALL. typical one sided fashionable america hating.

and please, no more one line disclaimers about how you dont hate ALL americans, and how you are not responsible for blair being in office.
regardless of what you say and dillude yourself into believing, blair and the majority who put him in power have made england just as guilty as the US. we're in this together pal...they hate you just as much as they hate me. so please, cut the "not my fault" bullshit.

you're trying to structure your arguement so that america is evil and england is unsoiled.

Actually I think they hate the UK less than the US ✅
