I think "Revenge of the Sith" ties in nicely with "Return of the Jedi."

So do I. However, Rise Of The Empire sounds alright to me. And so does that teaser...I love the teasers!! 💃

..no it's not. "The Rise of the Empire" is way more realistic than "Attack of the Clones" was... I was just waiting for them to change it right before the release date, just to spite us, but it never happened. TROTE is a fine choice for a title, IMO.

It is a very dull and obvious title that fans have thrown around for ages; I would prefer something far more surprising from GL; it has been part of the fun of these films.

Yeah I'd like to go along the old Flash Gordon serial lines. Something like "The Terror of the Dark Side" would be nice.

who cares what the title is?

It comes with being a die hard fan. So the answer is- a fair few millions care, actually...

Me. OK?

Lucasfilm already know that people are anticipating Revenge of the Sith so they arent going to name ep 3 that way. And I dont think it gonna be Rise of the Empire either.

I agree with dirty vader. Wait a minute "Dirty Vader" aint a bad title! lol. Anyway... With Lucasfilm and Lucas himself knowing what the fans expect, i expect the actual title to be something different than, "rise of an empire"(see, no "of the"😉 or "revenge of the sith. Working titles maybe, but the real title probably wont be unveiled till the end of this year.

they said they'd reveal the title by summer, so we just have to be patient.

Rise of the Evil Duo!

Star Wars: Episode III - Palpy Knows Best

🙂

corn

it's not that easy to guess 😄

ROTJ's working title was Blue Harvest.

Just a bit of trivia for ya there.

or AOTC's one was "Jar Jar's Big Adventure" 😉

Return of the Sith and Rise of the Empire are the most used fanboy titles there are. I'm hoping GL comes up with something original yet one which emphasises what is taking place in ep III.

Dave

just out of curiosity, how many titles did the first movie have?
Star Wars
Star Wars Episode IV: a New Hope
From the Adventures of Luke Skywalker
The Star Wars
Adventures of the Starkiller
is that all of them?

no just Star Wars

working titles are included, just like revenge of the jedi and the beginning

don't confuse the titles with the titles of the drafts

I Agree with those that want something completely unexpected. something that makes us all sick to our stomachs with disgust at how GL could use such a cheesy title, that we gradually get used to, and by the time the movie comes out, were so used to the title, we have no idea why we ever disliked it. GL better not cave in and use Rise of the Empire, Revenge of the Sith or Fall of the Republic!!!!
