I like Rise of the Empire a lot better than Attack of the clones, it made the movie sound like some cheesy old horror flick!
I don't understand all this nonesense about how Lucas can't use a title that is already being bounced around by the fans in the starwars community.
Case in point: Rise of The Empire.
This is truly the BEST and ONLY title that should be considered. What else could say it better? What is EIII going to center around? The rise to galactic power of a Sith Lord by way of Anakin's fall to the dark side of the force, that's what it will center around. This film is when the Empire rises to it's full might.
What I don't understand is what all the fuss is about concerning whether or not Lucas should use this as a title. What law says he has to use something that we won't expect? I mean, we all know that ROTE is the only title that can fully convey the point of the film, and if Lucas goes searching for another title just because we (the fans) already like this one, then he'll probably end up with something just this side of stupid only because he wants to come out of left field with a title that's completely new.
I think that's a mistake.
I, for one, am waiting for the release of Star Wars - Episode III : Rise of the Empire in May of 2005.
Anything else will be a disappointment.
