- Prime beat Solaris with the GL ring
- Knock down Gates of Heaven? There is no Gates of Heaven in Marvel
- Solaris wanted to use Kryptonite to kill Prime
- Having the last GL ring DOESN'T mean you have powers equivilant to Ion or Parallx.

Ok what did Dark PHoenix have to do when she recharged herself? Oh yea went and absorbed a sun. Superman created the Super Sun that gives the Superman Dynasty their advanced powers.

There is no way that DP > OA. That was just dumb. Parallax destroyed an entire Universe and recreated it. The GL ring is prob one of the most powerful weapons in the universe. It all depends on the WILL of the user. Hal Jordan was able to time travel with his before he became Parallax. Kyle Rayner was able to surround an entire sun with his and contain it went it went Supernova. I dont know but I would say that Superman Prime does have a pretty strong WILL. He could tear some sh*t up with it. The ring also helps protect the wearer from telepathy and any type of telepathy attack. Phoenix is cosmic power and GL rings are powered by cosmic power also.

Also about DP absorbing Superman Prime's energy... GL rings can do the same thing. So he could absorb her. He can seperate her from the Phoenix Force. The can manipulate matter.

Phoenix is not powered by the Power Cosmic.

Also, Parallax only destroyed the universe because of the Crisis of infinite earths. This has been discussed in this very thread! It was more a matter of ingenuity than power, also he had the whole oan battery, not just one ring. The last ring is not equal to the entire battery.

Parallax would be slaughtered by DP. Superman Prime is a sunbathed superman with a ring and sword. He is nowhere close to an entity that embodies a primal force of the multiverse. Also you say he could separate the PF from its host? Galactus tried that with Rachel Summers, guess what happened? The universe began fading and he was told to stop by the celestials.

Superman is a cool character and all, and very popular (explaining that blatant favoritism in this thread 🙄 )but SP isn't that powerful and he's totally out of his league here. He needs to be matched with someone like Silver Surfer.

He is a cosmic being. Even regular Superman is low end a cosmic being. It's just that Prime isn't going to win. And Prime doesn't even have a sword. Nobodies proven he has a sword, just a ring.

He's not a cosmic entity, but he's on the level of low end cosmic beings like Surfer.

This chick is part of the freaking universe. Not even Death can touch her. Do u honestly think SP is in the same league as DP? Sure he moves at the speed of light, he has invulnerability, heat vision, super strength, and super senses but DP is beyond all that. Can superman deconstruct matter? Can he stitch the fabric of time and space? Can he transcend beyond reality? She is part of life; so in essence she is immortal. When one avatar dies, the next rises. However, none of them has been more powerful and experienced in wielding the Phoenix Force that Jean Grey. Dp is in a league of her own. She won't have a problem absorbing Superman Prime, after all he is the sun and even if he has the sword of heaven and GL's ring, DP would still kill him. GL's ring is reinforced by the wearer's will and Jean being a mentalist has one of the strongest will on the planet.

The Phoenix is far above Galactus. In the past, it has defeated him easily. It is on par with (or possibly above,) Eternity. On occasion, the Phoenix's power has saved the multiverse from destruction.

Why are you guys getting worked up over eleveninches? He knows that Superman loses this fight, but his inner fanboy keeps posting such idiocy.

Superman Prime is a bacteria when compared to the Phoenix Force. It wouldn't even acknowlege him as a threat.

Dark Phoenix absorbed a star for the hell of it, not to recharge.

The Phoenix Force is certainly far greater than Oa. The Phoenix could destroy the Green Lantern ring easily, by breaking the Guardian's enchantment. It would be of no use. We all know how Parallax rebuilt the universe; I have Zero Hour. The Phoenix's power transcends the multiverse.

Unlike the Phoenix Force, the ring's power is derived from the OA and the user's imagination and will. The PF is a multiuniversal entity that exists beyond this universe. Its power is derived from life and as long as there's even a flicker of life, the PF lives. U destroy the OA and every Green Lantern Corps become powerless. PF has been around since the beginning of time. I don't know why DC fanboys are so determined about this. One ***** slap from DP and superman would be K.Oed.
