Finti, I don'T think rto break the treaty was stupid, just to attack them during winter was a bad move.
breaking a treaty with one country while at war with others are always stupid . And they launched the attack(which broke their treaty with USSR 🙄 .)( Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact) on June 22, 1941( Operation Barbarossa). Hitler , overconfidence as he was, expected to have a victory in the east within a few months. They never planned a winter campaign in the east it should be all over before the winter set in.

All in all the bad move was to attack Soviet Union.

Finti is right. This opened Germany up to a two front war. Had Hitler waited until the fall of western Europe, he could have easily taken out the Soviets. However short-sighted Hitler may have been to break the treaty and attack the Soviets, it hardly compares to the short-sightedness of Stalin to enter into a treaty with the Nazis. If anyone had the foresight to read Mein Kampf, the whole world would have stopped the Nazis before they attacked Poland in Sept of '39. Hitler laid out all of his plans in this book. The irradication of the Jews, the hatred for Communism, the world government, the master race, etc! It was all in Mein Kampf. To my knowledge, Churchill seemed to have been the only world leader that took the time to read the book. This is why he spent years calling for more action against pre-war Germany...and he was called a nut and warmonger. Only after the outbreak of war did everyone else catch up to him. Stalin should have read the book too. Germany had already invaded Russia before Stalin would believe that Hitler had betrayed him.

nah they were to busy nursing the peace from WW I so it wouldnt have made a difference if more State leaders read Mein Kampf or not

Sure it would have. Maybe then they would have known that appeasing Hitler wasn't going to stop him. It was years into German rearmamnet before anyone would listen to the intelligence reports that the Nazis were rebuilding their army. Sure, no one wanted another world war..and that's why the appeased him. But if they had done something earlier, they could have stopped him before he got started.

Well the problem was thatr he planned to attack them erarlier though, he could have had a chance to win, he just had to help mussolini in Africa before so he couldn't launch the attack earlier. Of course it probably would have been better for him not to attack the USSR he could have won though.

Well cause he didn't want to live in a world where he wasn't powerful and unpure people running around with the same rights, he probably thought he did her a favor.
I think he was more afraid of what they might do to him when the truth of the full extent of the holocaust was revealed

Well, his major mistake was to allow the holocaust. However, in military terms, the attacking of the soviet union was in my opinion the beginning of the end for the germans. I suppose they were overconfident after conquering all of europe (except for 3 or 4 countires), but it was a stupid mistake to assault russia. If they never broke the soviet treaty, they could very well have conquered the UK, although I dont know if they would have even continued onto america or africa, or whether they only wanted to rule europe..

lol

well, love is good right? and why should something good happen to someone who's bad? good things happen to good ppl, bad things happen to bad ppl... its just the way it is

Yeah like with this Hiob dude, or when all these jews were killed, wait a minute they might have been good people. I think your conclusion lacks some kind of truth there.

good ppl, bad ppl? 🤨
if it were that easy to decide....

it'S perhaps what you feel is good or bad, but there is always someone else who disagrees!

yea, for hitler jews etc. were bad people and the other way around....

great, then you only have bad ppl 🙄 so there can only be bad things happening then, or who's point of view counts?

well ppl who killed jews cuz they thought it was are crazy

Well I agree with Spatzi, even though I still don't see the connection beetween love-gift-goodness-badness.

gah! there's a difference betweew not understanding and not wanting to comprehend
