I think "28 Days Later" re-wrote the book on "zombies", A Talking Dog started up a real good companion thread on said topic, scope it out.
Soth you know your business. There is no reason to try remakes anymore. TCM remake took away everything that made the original so damn good, and dawn was just so damn frustrating, because it teased you with hinting at what it could have been, but took the easy way out and stuck to formula. Most all of the horror movies in the past 5 years are nothing more than left overs from calssic horror movies.
I have been having to turn internationally for my horror fixes. I think the next great horror movie will be dead reckoning, and that movie has a good chance at being a failure, but with a king like romero, and a lord like savaini on the project it's hard to believe it will be anyhting short of brilliant...lord i hope so

This time around I do not think Romero will be altering his script.
