Slowing down the fall would be harder than just lifting it. Momentum.

Im not really arguing the semantics of wich is harder or not. Im merely pointing out what was showed:

There was no lift.

Spectre was falling from above.

They tried to stop the fall. It was theyr porpuse.

They couldnt.

Kyle does it after.

Wich is why i give Kyle the actual lifting feat.

But the scan says they were lifting it. They slowed it down so Kyle could perform his feat.

Ah, thank for the scan. Judging from what i see here, it looks like the black hole was only partially released, meaning most of it was still contained.

As for the scan of them holding the Spectre, it doesn't really say they were lifting him, just that they were holding him.

Yea but slowing down the full weight of Eternity is one of the top strength feats there is. That cannot be overlooked. Sure they didn't stop it but they slowed it down even with downward momentum. To me that's harder than just liftng it.

Oh, of course I'm not overlooking it. It's one the reasons why I believe Post-Crisis Superman is probably more powerful than Pre-Crisis.

Hulk redirects a universe-destroying blast with a thunderclap. If any one doesn't believe me that it was a universe-destroying blast, the scan shows that it rips apart the entire Dark Cosmos (a separate universe). IH #126

Wait, what? Just because you're not impressed by it, the feat is negated? It still happened- Hulk deflected a universe-destroying blast.

I dont know man. The hulk is intense. I mean i know they have done crossovers where they have fought. But crossovers are about the gayest stupidest fakest things Ive ever seen. When the hulk gets angry, hes awesome man. He wielded Thors Hammer like it was nothing and was about to smash Thors head in. I think if he got mad enough, which he would against Superman it would be really tough for Superman. Then again, which Superman are we talking about here? If its the one that has a weakness to kryptonite, then NO!!! The Hulk could just grab a hunk of kryptonite, put Superman in a head lock and just SQUEEZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comparing feats I would say they are fairly equal. I don't think Hulk would ever get mad enough to overpower Supes and vice versa. Supermans powers surge also as has been stated.

I still think Supes has the more impressive feats of strength though imo if I had to choose.

And who ever said it up there. 616 Hulk never wielded Mjolnir that i know of. Wich event are you talking about?

it never happened, he tried and it turned into a stick when he did lift it... thats the only event of hulk lifting the hammer/stick!

I believe he did it once, but it was only due to a technicality and had nothing to do with strength. I remember Thor asked Odin to remove the enchantments from his hammer for five minutes so he could test his strength against Hulk. After his father did so, Thor threw the hammer away and Hulk jumped up and caught it, surprised that he could lift it.
