If you know it's illegal why would you ask? Look at it this way, the only way she won't tell is if the two of you are in love, so don't **** up if you do date a 16 year old.

They have to live with any consequences that may happen are they both prepared for that? I would guess no. The 16 year old still needs to be a 16 year old and enjoy being a young adult first. I don't think there are that many 16 and 20 year olds that are actually ready for parenthood.

but the way you are syaing that is like you've already condemned them to having an accident. are you stereotyping this kind of relationship to having kids early on? i think its a bit shallow to think this. i'm with a 17 yr old (i'm 25) and my gf is on the pill, and if she was'nt we'd use protection or not have sex if we didnt have any kind of prtection.

yeah but it isnt illegal here. younger people are a lot more mature than they used to be. go back 30 years and girls who were 14/15 still played with barbie dolls. now they bin these dolls at the age of 10 in favour of going out and trying to act old. girls who are 16 go to pubs drinking, if they can get served of course.

well.. i am 14 and dating a 18 year old.. he is the best and never ever pressures me.. i am a virgin.. and he respects that.. and he will wait till I'm ready.. so i don't think four years is much of an age difference.. my parents are 6 years apart and are happy.. so.. i think age doesn't really matter unless its like over 9 years apart.. i mean as long as your in love and so is your partner does it really matter.. if a 16 year old would do it with a 20 year old.. its illegal yes but.. if they trust each other, and aren't pressured into it then i don't see what would be so wrong.. ..
