I think it is deeply unfair, if there is a God, it is this way then. I mean its been said here you can't have a "sinner" teaching people not to sin. The thing is choice. A gay person doesn't choose to be Gay, so how does that work? You can choose not to steal, or murder, but you don't control your heart in that way. So obviously if one believes in God as all forgiving, then it is hard to damn a people who really have no choice over their state. God must have wanted gay people in the world, and if God wished that, I don't see why he should have a problem with them being priests.
And just as an aside, which part of the people detailed how much he disliked Gays (as in the destruction of the cities) was it the old testament with all the bloody fury of a vengeful God (with things equivalent to genocide), or New Testament with the new message of love and acceptance?
According to The Bible, gay people are a new lifeform sent from God as a test to all the non gays. If you remain heterosexual, you get into heaven and get to be placed alongside Hitler, who also had the "right" idea.
If you are tempted by the gay aliens, you turn into a gay alien yourself and are forced to live like an outcast, until of course, you die and get sent to hell.
This of course, being what a priest would tell you. Anyone who disputes this is a heretic and gets burned at the stake.
Anyone who disagrees with the bible is a witch and shall be painfully burned because we all know that God spoke to Moses and told him to burn all the non-believers 😛
That's just me, being a sarcy bastard. Oh well, I blame religion for, oooh, MOST of the pain in this world. It's a source of inspiration yes, but has also been indirectly responsible for some of the most EVIL acts the human race has witnessed. The Bible is chock full of hypocrisy, and even if God did indeed have input on it, he never meant it to be taken so literally as it is today. It should be a tool of inspiration, and to gather unity. It, of course, is interpretted to cause segregation and pain, by truly stupid people.
I bet God's up there right now, looking down at everyone making a big deal about gays these days and thinking "Man, did I create some stupid f**king idiots on Earth".

If Julie is going to cite The Bible as the reason things such as homosexuality and sex outside of marriage are wrong, she had better be able to defend The Bible.

If you're a firm beliver of JC then you know he is coming back to judge you and me and everyone else! And only The Lord Jesus can say who has committed sin and who is free of sin. Until then NO Christian can accuse his/her brother of committing sin!
Do yourself a favor and stop trying to get into other people's private lives. Specially the lives of your brothers and sisters. Preach the word of Jesus love. Don't use his words for you own gain.

a fact which too often falls on deaf ears. those who would consider themselves righteous to do the lords work are not just committing sin, but blasphemy. so long as they do not hurt people they are free to sin as they wish, so says the Man. thats the whole point of jesus coming back, so he will be the judge. never did he ask for assistants or interns, so certain folks need to STFU.
