In this particular case, I prefer to think of it as common sense.
I can agree that Scarlet Witch is most likely an omega mutant. I believe her to be one, myself, in fact.
However, she is not among the confirmed omegas. Hence, even my belief is speculation and not a damned thing more.
The Omega level classification only applies to mutants and mutant powers I think Mungi. Sorry. 🙁
Elixir doesn't have limitless power. He can't rewrite universes.
Elixir has a corporeal body.
But Elixir is an Omega?
This:
And this:
And this:
Make him an Omega.
And it's the only and ultimate requisite that can make the character an Omega.
Confirmed Omega level mutants are:
Mr Immortal
Elixir
Iceman
Mr. M (deceased)
Jean Grey
Rachel Summers
Vulcan
Franklin Richards
Kid Omega (deceased)
Squirrel Girl
Magneto, Prof X and Storm are alpha level mutants, not Omega level. They're still powerful, but not Omega class.
I don't think anyone ever flat out stated that Kid Omega was an Omega class mutant, but he has some amazing feats.

Just like I said.

When was he ever classified as an Omega Class mutant? Please, scan or issue number.I don't think Starhawk is a mutant.
Have you ever read Guardians? YES he AND Aleta are mutants, in fact they grew up in a colony ONLY for mutants. And yes he was classified as an Omega. He is near Phoenix level in power at his full potential which is why he is able to manipulate The White Hot Room.
You should read the source material first.

Starhawk is from a different Earth timeline isn't he? Which issue is this?

Was he on the 198 list?
How can he be a mutant if he's the son of Quasar and Kismet? Neither Quasar nor his father was a mutant, so he shouldn't have the x-genome.
If he is a mutant, then he's undoubtebly omega-class and possible stronger than Phoenix. He fought Korvac to a stalemate 😄

He's from Earth-691 apparently.

He is from the original one, when they went back in time and defeated Kovac their timeline diverged from the 616. But they are still canon characters and have shown up after that in the 616 universe as well. And its covered in the last few issues of the series.
I'll check it out, divergent timelines...meh.

Many mutants are born from non mutant parents. Franklin Richards for one.
mister immortal's an offshoot of mutantkind, classified as "homo supreme" as opposed to homo superior. he's essentially evolved beyond death, but he isn't an omega.
also, rachel grey is not an omega mutant. she was labeled an "omega" by a sentinel nearly two decades before the term even had a definition; which was itself written by a different author. to use that as evidence is fallacy, and since she's never had the term applied to her anywhere else, she isn't a confirmed omega.
and i've never even heard of starhawk, and i doubt he's of enough consequence to warrant the labeling.
