well moose...the only way to classify someone as an omega is if they are confirmed as an omega. so far the confirmed are
elixir
iceman
jean grey
vulcan
franklin richards
Mr. M
and possibly some others i'm forgetting
though there are mutants who have been called possible omegas since their beginning like
storm
polaris
gambit
dazzler
stepford cuckoos
^^though until they are confirmed, they aren't. also, there are some others who have been confirmed as not omega like
cyclops
beast
angel
emma frost

here´s a list that i found in wikipedia:
Current Omega-level mutants
* Elixir (New Mutants vol. 2 # 12 by Beast)
* Jean Grey (X-Men: Forever by Professor X, also known as the White Phoenix of the Crown.)
* Iceman (X-Men: Forever)
* Mister M (The 198 Files)
* Franklin Richards (The 198 Files)
* Quentin Quire (Phoenix Endsong #2 by various sources)
* Vulcan (X-Men: Deadly Genesis #1 by Emma Frost)
* Rachel Summers (Uncanny X-Men #208 by Nimrod. Once also held the Phoenix Force.)
the list is about current, so nate and cable are not there (i´m guessing). Magneto is still without powers right? he´s probably not an omegal level mutant but i think he has the potencial.
isn´t storm to attached to her body to be an omega level mutant? maybe she has the potencial, but i don´t think that she can be considered a omega level mutant, gambit also has the potencial still he´s not omega at present time.
i didn´t knew that, here´s a possibile definition of omega level (wikipedia):
Omega-level mutant is a fictional designation for a certain powerful class of individuals in Marvel Comics to indicate mutants with the ability (or potential) to exist beyond the physical realm and consciously explore the mystical. Immortality is also a possibility, but not a requirement. Being able to control matter on the sub-molecular scale also seems to be a requirement.
by the way how can storm transcend the pshyical plane?

i don't know how she did it, but in x-treme x-men, she states that she has transcended beyond her psyical body
