I know the instance you're talking about, but it was only an implication... not enough to warrant him the title officially.

Besides, the Prof doesn't have access to half his powers. I would think Cassandra Nova would have to be declared an Omega if he was.

I don't think CN has a gender, since it's a mummudrai 🙂

Starhawk: Rachel was classified as an Omega class contact. A non mutant was classified as a class contact. You still think Omega class contact means Omega class mutant? Geez.

The marvel handbooks have been wrong several times. Like classifying Colosssus strength which has been going up and down for years. They're not always right. Rachel wasn't classified as an Omega class mutant in the 198 files either. She has virtually unlimited tk and tp, not unlimited.

You seem to think that the definition of Omega is "I pwn everyone" but sadly it's not. Omega class mutant simply means that your potential is unlimited. It doesn't mean that you're strong at all. It just means that if they realized a lot more of their potential, they'd be a lot stronger.

So after 2001, the only classified mutants are.

KidOmega
Franklin
Iceman
Vulcan
Jean Grey
Mr.M
Mr. Immortal
Elixir

Those who have been hinted at being Omega Class are.

Xavier
Storm
Chamber
and possibly others.

Mr Immortal isn't an Omega until he's referred to as one, in the correct context, in comics and on panel. Interviews, articles, websites, letter pages - not canon. Technically he's not even the same species as the confirmed Omegas iirc.

If anyone knows of an on panel reference, I'd be happy to find it and post it. But I don't think there has been.

The 7 Omegas, confirmed on panel, are:
Elixir (Josh Foley)
Franklin Richards
Iceman (Bobby Drake)
Jean Grey
Kid Omega (Quentin Quire)
Mister M (Absolom Mercator)
Vulcan (Gabriel Summers)

There on panel confirmations are somewhere in this thread.

what about cable as a possible omega, onslaught referred to him as an omega.

Who did he call the Omega? Apocalypse or Cable. IRRC He said something along the lines of:

"Well look who it is the Alpha and the Omega."

Onslaught wasn't talking about their Mutant levels...

Your so hung up on that. It doesn't matter if it was before 2001. Same as with Rachel's identification, and for your information it was not the first time mutant were addressed by their power classes, it happened in AoA as well.

Read the ****ing posts above mine, geez. Onslaught didn't classify Cable as an Omega class mutant at all. Are you seriously retarded or something?

I'm adding you to my ignore list now, good luck, have fun.

I was speaking of Rachel. You just seem way too hung up on 2001. In AoA mutants were classified as Alpha or Beta classes.

And you won't put me on ignore because you live the arguing too much.

And still no mentioning of an omega class - because one WASN'T INVENTED YET.

Where do you think he got the idea? Fabian is a b-level writer, his early days on Uncanny X-men and X-men are cringe worthy. He took what other writers started and created something out of it.

As I said though, we will soon have the answer. You just need to be patient.

Everyone in this thread with half a brain already KNOWS the answer.

Know they have an opinion. Which I have no issue with. Your the only ones that seem to demand that everyone agree with you. Kinda nazi-like huh?

here is a list of all confirmed omega level mutants and when they were confirmed:
Elixir (New Mutants vol. 2 # 12 by Beast)
Iceman (X-Men Forever)
Phoenix/Jean Grey (X-Men: Forever by Professor X; Jean is also known as a White Phoenix of the Crown.)
Mister M (The 198 Files)
Franklin Richards (The 198 Files)
Kid Omega (New X-Men #154 (appears as Phoenix host) and Phoenix Endsong #2 by various sources)
Mr. Immortal (GLX-Mas by Marvel Comics's Editors [|IGN])
Vulcan (X-Men: Deadly Genesis by Emma Frost, Uncanny X-Men #477
Storm (Black Panther #21

That's pretty much straight off Wikipedia. Storm is not a confirmed Omega class mutant. I'm not going to accept it either, coming from Hudlin 🙂

Sorry but after your last post this is relevant to repeat.
