I think, you should stand up and show some respect, if you are a foreigner or whatever, but like you shouldn't been forced to salute to the flag or say the pledge

That only applies if thats the reason for the refusal to stand. Which as Ive told you only applies in about 1% of the cases.

still, I think it should be up to the individula if they want to participate in the POA, but I agree it is kind of sad that people dont stand up cause they are too damn lazy.

Fin if you want to allow that then you'd have kids not doing a whole lot of things simply cause they didnt want to.

I just think iot is fair to shut the **** up when an anthym is said and not sit around and do other shit. You can show respect, if not for the country at least for the people that want to do it.
