I actually think this makes them better in the playoffs. Yao is key because he can pick apart today's centers while people still fear McGrady. If Yao does struggle, the McGrady can always step forward and take over. Its kind of like Jordan letting his team get confidence until he saw his team needed his scoring.
But see, from the looks of it, he hasn't been looking to take over the game when his teamates start struggling.
I'm not saying he won't, its just that he hasn't. IMO, the Rockets won't make it past the 1st round if he doesn't score 30+.
