Yes and logistics and gathering information is their job absolutely. They are also fighting against cells in the USA who know our system as well. There is no 100% against terror if there was it wouldn't work at all now huh. How do you think terrorists function?
Omega save your blithing sarcasm about Al Queda and terror. I said threats are made every day not actually acts of terror (unless you consider those threats acts as well.) Yes I lived in the Washington DC area for 11 years contracted work in the Pertagon, State Dept, Naval Yard, Naval Intelligence Center yada yada yada and at any given time at any given location we would get threats. That was FAR before 9/11.
So is Al Quida the only functioning unit for terror enlighten us. 😉

Libby has incriminated both bush and cheney in the CIA leak that led to the dismantling of a WMD program and the public humiliation of joseph wilson (and the possible deaths of several undercover agents who were also exposed). Secret memos have leaked out indicating that bush and blair knew there were no weapons in Iraq and were going to go to war on march 10th, which is when initial bombing began. Rove and Anne Coulter have been caught voting multiple times in multiple districts in the last election. Generals are calling for Rumsfeld's resignation. The forgers of the yellowcake uranium memo have been revealed to be Ahmed Chalabi, Michael Ledeen, and Richard Perle. the theft of billions by contractors financially linked to the Bush administration are not being investigated despite being obvious. the economy's recovering without recovering jobs. the actual unemployment rate (including katrina victims and disenfranchised workers) is estimated around 23%. Bush's poll numbers are in the high twenties and everywhere in the US and in it's armed forces people are pissed.
If there isn't a way of impeachments and convictions by middle of next year, I believe that there will be civil unrest unseen since the beginning of the last century.

It is that big of a deal cause there's been a certain group of people involved in the last few administrations that should have gone to jail with Iran-Contra but are still out, free to terrorize the world and influence world politics. Who is corrupt here, and where is the proof? Unless you have the documents on hand to tell me that so and so are corrupt people, then by no means are you convincing anyone that so and so is corrupt. You can say a pair of scissors is a screwdriver all day, but unless you can prove it, then you're just talking. I don't believe that the people who are in charge of the USA right now are corrupt people. I believe that they are human, and fully capable of making mistakes. If you don't want anyone or anything corrupt, program a robot that can't make a mistake and make it rule over the country. Mistakes will happen.

Try getting you news internationally. England's The Guardian is a very objective newspaper, and http://news.bbc.co.uk is a great source of international news. CNN.com isn't bad either, but it's American.
