Wow, guess I'm more patriotic than you since my allegiance is to the constitution and to te American ideal, not to it's leaders. Remember your seventh grade civics class. It's your responsibility to hold your leaders accountable since they are working for you, not the other way around. If you think it's not your place to question your leaders, then you're a shitty american who doesn't care enough about his country to keep a retard from running it into the ground and would probably be more comfortable in Mexico or Turkmenistan. And I guess according to you I should "leave" if I don't like the government? how assbackwards is that?
And for the record, if you look at history since the spanish american war, we've royally ****ed over the world to our own detriment.

You didn't vote for Bush? Then that's your problem. You can whine and complain all day, but you can't do anything about him being President, and questioning him will do no good. Also, haven't you heard the phrase, "if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen?" If you don't like it here, then that's fine. Move to Britain, or France, or Germany, or Canada, or wherever you choose. That's what Alec Baldwin and that guy from Pearl Jam said they were doing? Guess what? They stayed here. What the heck is complaining about foreign policy going to do for you?

See, aside from complaining, protesting, and not voting for assholes, my choice of career is going to protect people from morons like him and eventually, hopefully make sure that no one like him has any power over anyone ever again.
your just complacent and lazy. sad really.

Funny, sad and ignorant; that's a heady mix you've got going in that post, Marcus...

Thunderstrike> I don’t give a rat’s ass about your PERSONAL life and opinions, kiddo. Prove to me that Michael Moore is lying, that’s what I asked you to do, and you still have been unable to do so.
Your constant personal attacks on the man is no proof what so ever.

“It's not my place to question leaders,” So you just buy EVERYTHING George Bush says without question? Why is your current leader incapable of making mistakes???

I thought the American Constitution requires that you, as a citizen, keep a constant eye out to ensure your leaders do not abuse their power???
Frankly, I think Michael Moore is more of a patriot than you’ll ever be. He, at least, is not afraid to question power...

Nope but he did do some nice video editing to achieve his goal of slanting. Question power and the use of said power however don't abuse your rights as a "news journalist" to further spin evidence.

I fail to see how, if anyone is going to bash Michael Moore for using propaganda, why don't they also bash the U.S. Government for doing the exact same thing?

What Omega said is entirely correct.

Michael Moore is more of a patriot than those who stand behind Bush 100%. Why? Because patriotism is unwavering support of your country, not necessarily the man running it.

Michael Moore and many others clearly believe that the US should deal with their own problems before f*cking shit up or attempting to fix things for everyone else.

I think Dr. Samuel Johnson said it best:

"Let us take a patriot, where we can meet him; and, that we may not flatter ourselves by false appearances, distinguish those marks which are certain, from those which may deceive; for a man may have the external appearance of a patriot, without the constituent qualities; as false coins have often lustre, though they want weight."

God bless the British Writters. 😊

Soleran> The Danish TV showed Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 this evening, so I had a chance to see it again.

- Is it true that Al Gore did receive more votes during the 2000 election that George Bush?

- Is it true that the Bush-administration knew Al-Queda would attack the US because said administration received a report in the summer of 2001?

- Is it true, that while all planes were grounded after 9/11, the White House ensured that 24 Bin-Laden family-members could leave the USA without being questioned about Osama?

- Did the White House censor several pages in an official rapport about 9/11??

- Did Richard Clarke say on TV, that during a staff meeting following 9/11, Bush told said staff to say Iraq was behind 9/11??

Is the above slander?? What EVIDENCE did Michael Moore "spin"? You seem to toss out accusations of slander and spin without being able to back it up. THAT, sir, is slander.

Now I can take a step back and be sheepish because I was thinking Bowling for Columbine.............not Fahrenheit 9/11. I am sure there is some truth in the 9/11 film however its been several months since watching it. Bowling for Columbine ruined my opinion of Moore.......if thats how he shows facts I would have to actually spend time to refute his 9/11 film and its not time I am willing to spend at length at the moment.

❌ Just a leftie shouting his opinions.

Wait, are you denying that there are any facts in Fahrenheit 9/11?

Not many--mostly opinions, and what IS true is stretched.

Yes he is however there is some truth in the 9/11 movie. That said even if there is fact in 9/11 after watching his Bowling for Columbine and I had to sift through the illustrations and facts for truth with some of the info in 9/11 it makes me skeptical (not all of it but once a skeptic.)

He would cut frames and make it appear as though things happened instantly ie when he opened his bank account to get a free rifle..................he didn't get that the same day and thats the kind of craptastic footage throughout the ENTIRE film. His statistics suck arse without being sourced..................but hey if he did that to BfC then it makes me think how much of that happened in the 9/11 film.

He certainly loves to sensationlize (what journalist doesn't) its just that if you research alot (not all but his sourcing) he sucks.

That's reason enough in itself.
