which member is the most important in the JLA?

I always believed the Martian Manhunter was the "heart" or embodiment of the group. He is the one who seems to guide them.

I don't know, obviously Batman is an important member, but the League was formed and has survived without him. Hell, the League almost disbanded thanks to his plans for taking them all down. MM lives for the JLA because that's all he's got. He doesn't favor Gotham or any other city for that matter, he is constantly working for the League, not dividing his time between his other dealings. He's everything the JLA is supoosed to be.

come on, In Wild Cards, the JL were at a LOST of the Joker's plan.

HAD BATMAN not been there, The Joker would have beatn the JL.

if the joker commits a crime, sure they need batman... but in a fight, plastic man can take joker...

Anyone of the JLA can take the Joker. I could probably take the Joker if I had the right equipment.

In Wild Cards, he was not JUST commiting a crime, Not going to give away spoilers, BUT HAD BATMAN not been there. Supes would be a BRAIN DEAD ZOMBIE.
