just looking at first page yeh he has alot of powers not as many as john jones but he has easy weakness, faire where supes has less but is more powerful and his weakness is very hard to get but when supes wasnt as powerful he sort of sucked so keep him the same i say its like cap actully caring bout himself and pissing on the flag [to a lesser exstent]

There r pple who r more ridiculously powered than supes. Like Thor, or silver Surfer. Thor is shit without his hammer n he is based of a god. Silver Surfer has access to the Cosmic force. And he rides around on a surfboard in space? His appearance is ripped of Iceman so he's like a copy. Heck, when i 1st saw him, i thought that iceman had created an ice surfboard and was surfing. Superman is original, he wasn't based of any1 nor was his costume too. Okay mayb the underwears kinda dumb, but everythin else is good. Look at how many caped heroes there r today. Heck, even the 'all powerful' Thor wears a cape. Supes was the 1st caped hero n he inspired all the capes. Nearly every1 on this planet knows what Superman's symbol is. With pple like Batman an Spiderman, come on once u say their name to even the dumbest person on the planet who doesn't read comics will know what their symbols are coz of their name.

Honestly, whats the point of even having people like Batman around when Superman can do EVERYTHING he does, but twice as fast and efficient? The man can be anyware on the planet near instantly and he has super strength. He can solve any bank robberies or whatever in mere seconds. People like the Joker would be... a joke. With people like Superman around any and every street leveler is pretty much out of the job. Useless.

Superman's not the GREATEST superhero ever but he's certainly not the WORST superhero either. I can see why people dislike him. He's one of my all time favorite superheroes but it is kind of pointless for him to be a superhero when he can easily do everything. I know it's a stupid reason but some people only hate him because of his costume (he should lose the underwear though). But, aside from all that, Superman is a great character & he paved the way for ALL of the superheroes now. So, without him there wouldn't be a Batman, Spider-Man, etc. Just stop complaining about him being so powerful & roll with the punches.

There's nothing wrong with him. I think people just mainly dislike Superman because of his choice in outfits which I myself would like to see changed but I still don't hate him just because has wears his underwear on the outside. As for whoever says his fights are boring, bullshit. Superman has had some interesting fights throughout his 60+ year history, especially his fight with Doomsday.
