and if you're into new avengers, you also need to read amazing spider-man, and marvel knights spider-man, as those arent really about spidey anymore, from what i've seen. Now they are "amazing new avengers" and "marvel knights new avengers" basically.

damnit.......... don't Marvel realise i only have so much to spend...... 🙁

yeah i know, i'm lucky that those just happened to already be on "my list". They are still called the same, but on the covers they also have "New Avengers" big & bold underneath somewhere. And yeah, they are still focused around spidey, but its not like spiderman: breakout (which is also closely related to new avengers, but he's off doing his own thing apart from the group). No, they are both basically new avengers stuff told from spidey's POV

thats cause thats a miniseries. i read miniseries after they are done so i can get all the info in one. now i know storm has future seeing powers and the suprised is ruined

i was away for a year, during which i never bought or read a single comic........ i'm trying to catch up now....... i got all the Avengers i missed apart from "Red Zone" but i'm still pretty far behind on everything else..... i was reading Spidey the other day and it says " the twin children of Norman Osborn and Gwen Stacy" and i'm like "WHAT THE F*CK IS GOING ON???"....... thank god for TPB's...... i'll catch up eventually

consider yourself lucky.... i stopped reading comics for 10 years, then a year and a half ago, i jumped back into the comic wagon full-force. I have pretty much nothing BUT tpbs.... lol

Same situation with me PLUS in Germany we are aproximately one year behind latest comicreleases 🙁
I have absolutely no idea what you people are talking about since my last posting here!?
(What a shame 😮 )

wow, your a year behind!? that would suck being here must ruin all the suprises. but anway you know who i think wins

alright if there are any windows around storm can just hit them w/ lightning, send the glass flting at spiderman like a bunch of daggers(arena), then create a fog around him and send lightning, hail, more glass, any debris lating around then create tornados around. this may get rid of the fog but it will still cuse major damage.

lightning doesnt break glass....

i usually pick up one TPB when i get my regular stash.... lol .... i never bought them before as i had full collections of the titles i read.... at least with a TPB you can't miss out a middle issue of the story..... like i normally do with limited series....... i often miss part 3 of 4 issue series'

lol

lightning doesnt break glass....

it did in storm-the arena. she broke the glass with a lightning bolt and the glass shattered and storm usd winds to make the glass fly at masque and was so controlled over the wind she had each glass shard go where she wanted so the glass didn't kill masque just pinned her to the wall

then that goes under sh*t writing... cuz lightning CANT break glass... its too hot, it would melt glass instanly, kinda like how lightning turns sand to glass.

well it happened and lightning smashed through brick and wall crap. imo it was really good and wasn;t shit writing

waitt how would lightning shatter glass kontraz has a point wouldnt it melt it?

doesnt matter about your opinion... sh*t is sh*t, nomatter how good it is. Sure, its cool that wolverine survived a nuke and healed by the next few panels, but that is still sh*t writing and is thrown out by board rules.

well wouldn't all comics be shit writing? people don't naturally have powers, people don't control the weather. it doesn't matter if its not true but it has happened in the comic universe. and it can't be dignified as shit writing seeing as many people liked it

theres a difference between comic fantasy and shit writing, and you know it... coimcs being, storm can create lightning, shit being lightning can do things lightning cant... like break glass. See... thats the problem... energy cannot act upon a solid object as if it were another solid object... it would melt the glass.

Don't bother arguing with Stormfront, I'm fully convinced he's either a 13 year old or he has a learning disability.

I perfectly agree with you on the Wolvie-Nuke and ComicFantasy-ShitWriting stuff, BUT you are absolutely wrong about the lightning!
It´s not simply energy but free electrons, broken out of their atomic orbit, and ionised air-molecules, ergo highenergized PARTICLES(for exact explanation ask youre physics teacher or another competent scientist at hand. It would be improper of me to do it myselfe in this forum.)
Lightning can not just shatter glass! I know that for sure because I study chemistry and in one of my physical-chemistry practicals we artificially generated small lightnings to study their "behaviour"(though it was pretty much fun, too) and(now it comes) in one of the tests they shattered a glass- and a clayplate with ease.
I saw it in THE REAL WORLD pals!!!
😖mart:

small lightning, yes... but lightning created from the atmosphere, no...
by "energy", i'm referring to the heat it generates... as we all know that heat is energy. he electrons cause very little damage to solid objects, thats why their radiations (forgot if its alpha or beta) is relatively safe. But, the heat that actual lightning produces is far greater than sand (and glass's) melting point, so instead of shattering the glass, it might cause it to temporarily burst while heating, but it would quickly liquify.
