storm VS spiderman

I'm not really saying Spiderman wins, but I don't see Storm hitting Spidey with any sort of lightning attack. Be it from her hand or from the sky. He's just too fast for that. Especially with the spider sense.

Again, not saying he wins, just that Storm will need to use one of her other 5,000,000 abilities to defeat him.

Given that lightning travels at a third of the speed of light and that Storm can psionically redirect it as she pleases i think she'll do just fine with the lightning.

yeah, I think the same. spiderman is very overrated when it comes to how fast he is

Cant belive this is debated for 28 pages, spiderman has the strength, and agility like a spider not to mention his spidersense and super intelligence....spiderman wins 9/10 times, storm may get lucky with some hail the size of golfballs or something...

So what can all of those abilities do in the face of a hurricane?

In all of those categories spidermans good but nothing special at all. He's a good all rounder. He doesnt have the durability to withstand storms attacks, his speed is great and will keep this match going on longer than it otherwise would but in the face of psionically controlled lightning and and a weather pattern which could engulf the battlefield there would be no escaping storms winds.

Sorry i didn't make that sound as sarcastic as i wanted...

truth

Spiderman can't dodge wind....and this is blood lust mode, so Storm is well, sick.

In that case i should be the sorry one. 😮 😂

Its just that i argued for weeks on this thread a few months back and was just baffled by the people who seriously believed spiderman would win the majority of the time without prep and in an open environment. Its just crazy.

I agree, spiderman is not what people make him to be...i m still sick from that recent fight he had with the hulk...

This is a pretty good match IMO, and my first impression is to give it to Storm. But Spiderman is also a tactical fighter; he'd probably realize direct assault wouldn't work and rely more on stealth, less muscle, more brains. Out of ten, I'd give Storm more wins in the beginning, Spidey more toward the end: maybe 5/5 for both in the end. Depends on circumstances. Tough call.

I love spiderman....and I KNOW he'd get his handed to him. Storm is just too much, nature is immensley powerful.

....Strom flys high.....and tornado, lighting too.....Spidey out of reach...and he dies...

In all honesty, the main reason this thread went on for 28 pages was SF's lack of debating ability. Once GS came in and actually did a halfway decent job of debate, and brought up some valid points, I continued to debate just for the sake of debate.

Storm's best chance of winning;
Cold

Storm's worst chance;
Electricity

Spidey's got two major villains who use electricity, he knows how to deal with it. The instant cold? Not so easy.

Wind? Not a force in itself that can deal damage, and with webs and his ability to move, not nearly as effective as it is against slower opponents.

Hail? I showed the math of how Venom's blows are much more powerful then hail, it shouldn't be doing that much damage to Spidey.

But is it that fast, and covers a distance from above...and powerful as storms ? Well anyway Tornado to the Spider, and you know.

Makes sense to me.

Electro's electricity manipulation puts Storm to shame.

😆 Oh yeah well WIND, kills Spiderman.

I agree cold is the best choice, I don't see wind doing much to a guy that can adhere to walls, period... Moving one of the most movable characters in comics isn't a good idea.

Spiderman needs circumstances like storm to win, but storm can levitate, spiderman has precognition, and is more athletic and therefore doesn't tire that easily.

I say storm takes the majority in bloodlust.

Yes, a Tornado can't hurt Spiderman....

What is said tornado going to do? Throw him around at high speeds?

Oh man, that really hurts! The objects inside said tornado are moving at the same speed as he is, and he's capable of manipulating his body to work his way through debri filled tornados. Hell, he's got a better chance inside the tornado, if he gets his hands on a brick Storm's done. Remember that time she put herself out with a brick? Yea.
