bill opens his portal behind thanos and maj and marv rush him inside his field. unfortunately, it's a clone (the same in every way as thanos so no mm's tp wouldn't let him know it was a clone ) that is booby trapped to explode when it is touched.
mar and majdeath
a nanosecond after, while the smoke clears and the bits of maj and marv fall down inside the shield like it was one of those snowballs you shake, thanos appears behind the others and takes out thor with his force cube ray cuz his godblast is the only really threatening attack and i don't think bill is capable of delivering a godblast.
that leaves bill and mm. thanos doesn't need prep to deal with these 2 . . .
