Oh ho! I don't think so! See, I picked this team specifically with that possibility in mind. For one: There are two high level telepaths and the Eye available to discern the truth, and they have infinite time thanks to Lacuna to triple scan him and make sure he's the real deal. If he's not the real deal, the Eye can discern where he's hiding, and since time is still frozen, he instantly teleports them all to Thanos real location, where Thanos is still quite frozen.
Also, in the event that something DOES go wrong, they have high enough durability to not be "instantly vaporized".
OR, because flash needs to touch thanos to take his speed, that exploding force field that he has vaporizes flash BEFORE the the clone is revealed. the field will already have been in place when thanos arrived because he would have been wary of flash's speed stealing skills.
Which is why Flash alone wouldn't be able to pull it off. But luckily, that's why I have Lacuna there. When time freezes, all chemical reactions freeze as well, that includes exploding forcefields.

AND ikaris, as prime eternal, is likely near enough to skyfather level not to count in this fight.❌

Thanos, knowing this, will, in his month, create a booby-trapped clone. This clone, when the opening starts, will be fast enough teleport in and take down Waverider in the beginning, since WR doesn't have superspeed or superreflexes. Of course, I imagine that the next step will be Amazo copying Thanos' powers. Unfortunately, this "Thanos", among his powers, includes the ability to vaporize himself anytime someone says, "anus", which Thanos happily teleports in and says.
Now, if I recall correctly, you'd actually have to LOOK at the PS in order to fall for it (correct me if I'm wrong), so Thanos comes into the battle with special glasses that detect EM energy rather than actual visuals. Also, the PS didn't work on Thor because of his "godly nature", which makes the top level being it can work on questionable. GR's lousy durability puts him out in one shot.
That leave Doomsday and Strange, whom can cause problems, to be sure, but I don't think they could beat him alone after awhile.

Death gets drunk that night and decides to remove the 'can't-die' curse on Thanos...a wormhole then opens in front of Thanos transporting him to the center of a large star. With his Death-powered upgrades gone, he burns half to death and reverts back to his self-defeating personality of the early '90s. Longshot then wins the lotery in 9 different countries and marries twin super-models.

Ah...but even if somehow waverider is taken out that quickly (doubtful since he survived along with supes and DD when calaton was destroyed) Amazo will have copied his powers and it wont matter if waverider is conscious or not.
Amazo can then freeze time allowing waverider to wake up (if indeed he is knocked unconscious) and can bring the whole team back in time a month (to be fair of course) before thanos had any prep for this team.
The combined power of this team Doubled by Amazo having everyones powers (including Thanos) will then be far too much for Thanos to handle.

HAHAHAHAAHAH!! you don't REALLY expect me to let that scenario stand, do you. i wasn't familiar with lacuna's talents, HOWEVER, thanos would be VERY familiar, and, in his month of prep (as you so quickly said something similar to me!) he finds the TIME GEM.
course, you're team doesn't know it . . . when they check out the clone and realize it IS a clone they will certainly ASSUME thanos is froze, like the clone is. but nnooooooooooo . . . he's NOT frozen because with the time gem he is infinitely more powerful that lacuna. this time, when flash tries to steal his speed and THINKS the force field is down . . . well, you get the picture . . . 🧑⚕️

from then on, things go quickly downhill for your little crew . . .death

Yea..the time gem would be an unfair advantage. Then again...if this is based on comics logic... the infinity gems wouldnt work on Waverider or any of the DC characters.
Reason I put Amazo in there is because if anyone is taken out, he has their powers anyway. Now, if he goes for Amazo, waverider or anyone else can attack. Basically there are 2 of everyone. 😄
