"Here's what I think will happen at the end of book 7.

Voldemort and his Deatheaters will battle Harry and Co. Harry will defeat Voldemort, but at a high cost. Most of his friends will be killed, the grief from this causes Harry to do something drastic. He sneaks into the department of mysteries, steals a time turner or similar magical time travel device and travels back to Goderic's Hollow just before Voldemort kills his parents.
Harry confronts Voldemort and in doing so gives James and Lily Potter time to escape to safety(Maybe Sirius takes them to 12 Grimauld Place or to Hogwarts). During Harry's final battle with Voldemort in Goderic's Hollow Harry and Voldemort wind up killing each other.
And in the new time line Harry is just another Wizard boy, who lives happily with his parents... "

This was posted a while ago, and i have to say that it would be impossible for this to happen, because then life would already be that way in the present, so even tho this is a nice ending, it would be impossible

Let us do it in a more convenient way.
First of all we should make a list of all half bloods we already know from the 5 books. Then we will see the possibilities of each person being the half blood prince one by one.
But what if the HBP is a new character?

Ok this is definatly the title of the 6th book it was on the news today...well it is unless she changes her mind last minute...but they said it on the news that the 6th Harry Potter book is going to be Harry Potter and The Halfblood Prince...ok so now you can speculate and actually have a real reason because it will be the title...that was mostly for anyone who had doubts about the title...

i hope ron gets a girl friend.Like a nice Hufflepuff that likes the same stuff he likes,but then Malfoy sees ron likes her,and trys to steel her away,but she likes ron better.-ok so a have thought a bout this a few times.-

The HBP has to be someone important in COS b/c it was a possible title and the book has to be mainly about the same people b/c she wouldn't have left something out of book 2 that had nothing to do w/ book 2 therefore HBP has to have a part in COS

The Half Blood Prince will be Mark Evans
