But Dudley would be related to Mark Evans too, so why would he be beating him up? Do you reckon the Dursleys would know about Mark?
I don't think that half blood prince is Mark cos he wouldn't fit into the 2nd book would he, as he was first mentioned in the 5th.

Ya, i seriously doubt Voldemort is related to Harry in any way, or he would've been able to touch him all along, because the blood would already be running through him. But it is possible that Mark Evans is related in some other way, just not sure how yet

Yes I was actually thinking about that the other day. it is possible that the HBP is Hagrid because he is half blood.he played a very important role in the CoS.

I think that the half blood prince may turn out to be a new chracter that we haven't met yet. I also think it could be Hagrid or maybe Snape?

Remember that JK said the second book is supposed to contain something which will become significant in book 6, maybe there is a clue in the Chamber of Secrets as to who the prince is?

we could make a list of all the half-bloods we know of at the moment.

Yea I know dudley used to beat Harry up, but he hates Harry. There must be some reason why he would beat up any other person in his family.

We don't know, I am pretty sure he's a pure blood though, cause malfoy would have said something. But we should keep him open i think.

Hagrid is the Half Blood Prince, he must be. Its says in one of the other books that his mother is Queen of the giants making him a halfblood prince.

but we didn't learn, although some characters found it obvious, until the 4th book that hagrid was a half blood

He was referring to Neville as the pureblood, there is your proof of what he is

Hm. perhaps Narcisa cheatted on luciouse and Draco is halfblood?
Or maybe Hermione granger has a brother? but her brother would't be half blood , cause he would be pure muggle born?

Another thing that developed through this theory, JK never speaks how come some children like Hermione, muggle born without any links to the wizarding community can do magic?
