I wouldn't be surprised if Harry goes out in search of the Dark Lord because he angry about the deaths of all the people he loved. Then the OoTP will come to save him and at the expense of one of the members lives, Harry will be saved so he can battle the Dark Lord in a final showdown in book 7. It's speculation, but very possible...and unless u have lukeimia (sp?) or some other fatal disease, I highly doubt you got a letter back from JK telling you these things. I heard for the 5th book some girl got an advanced copy like 4 months before it was published because JK felt bad about a medical condition that she had and they became pen pals and stuff
I think that Harry will end up with either Ginny or Susan Bones. To me Ginny is the obvious choice, but that may work against her, she's a little too obvious. Harry may look upon her as a little sister since his and Ron's relationship can be compare to brothers(which is why I think Ron make a good candidate to betray Harry).
That makes me think that Susan Bones is the one Harry will hook up with, other than the "big three" and the other Gryffindors she's the only one of the characters that have been mentioned in all of the books(by description if not by name) and Harry seemed to be impressed by in OotP.
Let me tell you people Hary potter is the one in the end thats is going to make a sacrifice wether to get his whole dead family back or to save his friends ron and herm the dark lord also has a son which no one knows and his son is harrys brother in law because the dark lord did some dark magic and got harrys mother pregnant befor harry was born and they say that the dark lords son is more power ful than the lord it self but it is on harrys side and you know the door that never opens in the departament of the mysteryes it is finaly open and thats where harry can get his parents back and sirus and his brother the dark lords son
and thats where harry really reveals his powers like never before
I dunno about that claim, but i think that in the next two books it will be revealed that Harry is a direct descendent of Godric Gryffindor. Harry would probably find this unbelieveable, but it will be the source of his true magical potential and it will enable him to over come the power of Voldemort...
I think that Hermione and Harry will end up together. As the series go on the two become more comfortable around eachother. In book five hermione is always hangin on to harry, especialy in times of trouble. she feels that harry can protect her and she is always with him. also, ron shows intrest in hermione, but she has never truely shown any intrest towards him. And i also have always wondered about james potters family. why do we only hear about Lilys family, but no other potters? i think that may come up in later books because it has definetly been down played.

We might hear more about James' family, but Harry won't end up with Hermione. Hermione will of course end up with Ron. I hope Harry will get together with Ginny.

The "magic" behind the locked door is "love" "kindness" "goodness" all the power that Harry possesses but Voldemort doesn't. No great secret.
And what do we know about Lily's family? Other than the fact that she has a sister Petunia and their parents liked to name their children after flowers?
In fact I'd be willing to go out on a limb and state that it will turn out that the Weaslys are related to Lily although distantly, I base this on the "clue" mentioned in OotP the fact that Lily Evans Potter had "flaming red hair". Rowling seems to take great care in constructing her characters and I don't think she'd use that term lightly. She peppers her books with subtle hints about the characters.
I'd be willing to bet that Dumbledore is Harry's great-grandfather or something, why else should he take such an interest in Harry?
There's a deeper relationship hinted at in OotP when Dumbledore is talking to Harry in his office after Sirius has died.
If Lily is related to the Weaslys, then why do so many people feel that Harry and Ginny will be together. If they are cousins, even if it is distat cousins. Also, like I said in my earlier statement that Ron shows intrest in hermione, but she has never shown any intrest back. And in the OotP, hermione seems to be very interested in Harry and Cho, she is always asking about it and always seems to try to make Harry understand girls better. Is that maybe because she is tryin to prepare him for their future romance? And also, the fact that we know anything about Lilys family is something, we do not know anything about James family. That was what i was commenting on.
Hermione does show interest back...She yells at Ron because Ron used her as a last resort for the Yule ball instead of the 1st option. And Ron/Hermione spent a lot of time together as prefects but we were never given any details about what they did together or what their duties were...I think that Hermione and Ron may have already began a relationship and we might not even know it. Or maybe it was supposed to be more of a secret relationship. Undoubtably Harry will have a future romance in the books, but i don't think it will be Hermione, I think it will be Luna and for some small subtle reasons:
-Luna pointed out that both her and Harry were standing under a mistle toe at the Yule Ball.
-Harry is the only one that will sit and talk to Luna while everyone thinks she's a space case.
-And why introduce a new female student in the 5th book? why not a male and why not one from a different house? (if memory suits me correctly, she was a gryffindor)
well that last comment might not be accurate but that's because i don't have a book with me to check and i read the book several months ago.
They might be havin a relationship right now. But more or less im am talkin about Hermione and Harry gettin married or something like that towards the end of the book series. Also, when the prefect badge was given to Ron, Hermione came into the room and Harry was holding it, she was very excited because she had thought that Harry had been a prefect. And when she found out he wasnt she kinda congratulated Ron, but nothin too special. I agree though, that JK would throw in a curve ball and say that Ron and Hermione were together secretly, but i doubt it because of the fact thta Ron is so busy, even though they are prefects together. But also as a prefect with Hermione he never really sticks up for her when it comes to prefect duties.
Very true....my original thought was that Ron and Hermy would have a relationship and that Ron would be killed, this would lead to Harry realizing how much he cares for Hermione and that would lead to them being together. I think Luna might date Harry, but I wouldn't want to see her with him for very long.
